Feedback reveals a practice with significant operational challenges that substantially impact patient experience. Appointment access remains the most persistent concern, with patients reporting extreme difficulty securing consultations through both phone and online systems, extended waiting times on hold, and booking system failures that prevent advance scheduling. Reception experience is notably inconsistent, with multiple reports of discourteous and dismissive staff behaviour contrasting sharply with occasional praise for supportive team members. Communication gaps are evident throughout the patient journey, from unclear appointment confirmations to lack of responsiveness regarding patient concerns.
Medical care quality shows considerable variation. While several patients commend individual doctors for attentive, compassionate consultations and clear explanations, others report rushed appointments, inconsistent competence, and dismissive attitudes toward patient concerns. Vaccination services and specific clinical procedures have been delivered efficiently in some cases. Positive themes include professional medical expertise, supportive reception staff, and effective clinical care when accessed, though these strengths are frequently undermined by systemic organisational dysfunction.
The practice faces fundamental structural issues affecting service delivery. Patients describe prolonged phone queues, inadequate staffing relative to demand, pharmacy delays, and poor coordination between departments. While individual staff members occasionally demonstrate genuine care and professionalism, the overall framework appears inefficient, creating barriers to timely care and leaving patients frustrated with their ability to access healthcare when needed.

Wasted 45 minutes on frustrating call
Absolute chaos from start to finish. I spent three-quarters of an hour on hold, only to have the call abruptly terminated by the representative. To add insult to injury, they then sent me a text telling me to call them back. It's no wonder customers get frustrated and lose their temper with such appalling service.

Frustrating wait for my son's health check
My 7-year-old underwent blood tests, and the physician who ordered them stated that if results were normal, additional examinations would be required. When the blood work returned normal, the receptionist claimed no further steps were necessary, contradicting the doctor's initial guidance. I was instructed to schedule an appointment, but when I asked to book one, I was told to call back in the morning. With school drop-off and work commitments, finding time for a call is impossible. It seems that if you're employed, securing a medical appointment becomes a challenge. Every other sector is becoming more efficient, so why can't medical practices modernize? The quality of healthcare has deteriorated, and all the competent professionals have apparently departed.

Friendly staff, impossible to book appointment
Friendly front desk team, but their scheduling process is a nightmare. Booking an appointment seems impossible. Save yourself the frustration - I haven't successfully scheduled anything since 2007.

Worst medical care in town
Medical staff display a lack of professionalism and competence, scheduling appointments is nearly impossible, and even when you manage to secure one, your health concerns are completely overlooked. Utterly maddening!

Docs drinking tea while patients wait
This medical practice is an absolute mockery. The staff appear more interested in socializing over beverages than attending to patient care. I've personally witnessed their unprofessional behavior, with phones ringing endlessly while they sit idly. The entire team deserves to be terminated for their complete lack of commitment and service.

Poor!
Endless tests with no real help
Like many healthcare settings, the individual staff members are competent and friendly. However, the fundamental issue lies in the extremely brief interactions, lack of continuity with healthcare providers, and the NHS's tendency to trap patients in an endless cycle of diagnostic tests without actual treatment or meaningful resolution. I've been perpetually shuttled through repeated testing over several months, with no one seemingly interested in exploring treatment pathways. At this point, I'm half-convinced that if my condition were rapidly fatal, I would have succumbed before receiving any substantive help. It's uncertain and frustrating. The core problem isn't with specific individuals, but with the systemic dysfunction. The entire framework appears inefficient and must be squandering substantial financial resources.

Phone support is a total nightmare
Their customer service is absolutely terrible when it comes to phone support! Waiting on hold has become a standard expectation, with call times frequently stretching beyond 40 minutes. Right now, I've already been waiting for 27 minutes with no sign of getting through.

Endless hold music drove me crazy
It seems this medical office has essentially gone silent, as I've been trapped listening to their endless background music for nearly three-quarters of an hour.

Soft and comfy everyday bra
This bra is a total letdown. The material feels cheap and scratchy against my skin, and the sizing is completely off. I expected better quality for the price, but it's uncomfortable and doesn't provide the support I need. The stitching looks flimsy, and I'm worried it won't hold up after a few washes. Save your money and look elsewhere for a more reliable undergarment.

Quick covid shot at local clinic
Covid vaccination - Effective. Efficiently managed. Appointments - Scheduling used to be extremely frustrating. The front desk staff were supportive, but the booking system forced them to deal with angry patients struggling to secure necessary appointments. Doctors - Inconsistent. Some are excellent practitioners. Others are less competent. Feels like a random draw which physician you'll encounter. Site and facilities - Appear adequate. Pharmacy located on premises.

Disconnected call after two years of silence
I received a letter requesting a doctor's appointment, which was surprising since I hadn't seen a physician in over two years... despite experiencing a heart attack in March 2020... with absolutely no follow-up or concern from Manor Park about my condition. Moving on to today's events. I called the medical practice at 8:11am, anticipating the usual lengthy wait times, but instead, I was abruptly and rudely disconnected by 8:50am. I genuinely didn't believe Manor Park could sink any lower. The facility has just a single competent doctor, and the front desk staff are completely unprofessional and unhelpful.

Terrible staff and clueless doctors
Truly, if there was a rating lower than zero, I'd choose it. The front desk staff displays an incredibly dismissive and condescending attitude, and about half the medical professionals seem incompetent, struggling to even comprehend basic patient documentation. I strongly advise avoiding this facility if you have any alternative options.

Felt rough after vaccine but worth it
Incredibly smooth and competent vaccination process yesterday - the entire staff handled everything with great skill - I'm feeling absolutely terrible now, but it's totally worth the minor discomfort.

Endless wait for blood test results
The longer this establishment operates, the more its service deteriorates. It apparently takes over four months to receive blood test results, and they leave you waiting on hold for what feels like an eternity! I'm completely exhausted by their incompetence and negligence! They dodge calls after 9 pm, yet you still end up spending an excessive amount of time on the phone when I can barely afford to feed myself.... why? I'm wasting money just sitting on hold! They have two reception areas and what seems like just one phone and a single staff member! Either do the job correctly or shut down completely! What's most frustrating is that I've been a patient at this surgery my entire life, and they're only getting worse with time!

Wasted whole day trying to see doctor
I've been registered with this practice for three-quarters of a year, and I've never managed to actually see a doctor. I'm completely in the dark about who our family physician is, not just for myself but for my wife and child. After spending an entire day trying to reach someone, I finally got through today, only to discover there are no appointments available and no way to schedule anything in advance. This means I'll have to call again, which makes me think it would be easier to switch medical practices than continue dealing with these incompetent staff.

Foot sore dismissed as weight problem
Dr Matthew Barton consistently attributes every medical issue to my weight, dismissing my concerns without proper examination. When I sought help for a painful foot condition, he immediately blamed my obesity and suggested I attend a weight management program, without addressing the specific problem. This medical practice is utterly incompetent. Securing an appointment is virtually impossible, and I was forced to wait a month just to obtain a brief telephone consultation due to my work commitments. Unquestionably the most inadequate GP practice I've ever encountered.

Frustrating customer support line again
I've repeatedly tried to connect with their customer service, but it's impossible to reach a live representative. Every time I attempt to call, I'm met with endless hold times or get disconnected. Their communication system is completely frustrating and ineffective. I'm beyond irritated with how difficult it is to get any actual help or resolution for my concerns.

Impossible to book a doctor here
Struggling to secure a booking for over eight weeks. Moreover, the medical professionals demonstrate inconsistent competence levels. Recommend contacting the NHS 111 helpline instead.

Terrible wait times and unhelpful staff
An absolutely abysmal experience with terrible customer service, excessively long phone wait times exceeding 10 minutes per call, and a scheduling system that consistently fails to accommodate timely appointment requests.

Terrible wait with my frustrated daughter
This establishment is utterly ridiculous. They forced my 5-year-old daughter and me to endure a 30-minute delay beyond her scheduled appointment time. When I approached the front desk, they casually informed me that they had rescheduled her appointment an hour later, claiming they sent a text notification - which we never received. This comes after already making us wait 2 weeks for this appointment. I am absolutely determined to transfer my daughter's medical care elsewhere as soon as humanly possible!! If the rating system allowed zero stars, I would select that option Additionally, being heavily pregnant, I'm experiencing significant discomfort from the uncomfortable chairs we were compelled to sit on for an extended period while waiting and discussing our situation
