Mediocre service with some very condescending staff

This surgery has (in a matter of months) unilaterally changed my wife's prescription that is given to her by her psychiatric team (ie something they are not qualified todo) , refused to take blood tests for her psychiatric matters, their pharmacist (several years her junior) told my wife that , despite having had asthma since she was 4, she doesn't know how to treat or control it. Quite frankly it's like some bad American Docudrama. GP's and "clinical" pharmacists regularly try to exceed their paygrade and this is one of those surgeries where they do. Their pharmacy team should jsut do what the repeat prescription information tells them to do, rather than trying to reinterpret areas of medicine they are unqualified to do so. MUST DO BETTER!

I've been a patient at this medical practice for more than a quarter-century. They've consistently met all the healthcare needs of myself and my expanding family. Their appointment scheduling is efficient, and they're particularly commendable for their preventive health approach. I give them my most emphatic endorsement. Ear wax nightmare at local surgery

I regret to say this medical practice has seriously deteriorated. Only a handful of decent physicians remain. The front desk staff are discourteous, particularly when handling phone interactions, displaying zero empathy or understanding. During my recent visit for a severely blocked ear with substantial wax buildup, the doctor instructed me to schedule a follow-up at reception. However, they claimed no appointments were available and simply handed me a leaflet directing me to a private clinic where I would need to pay £60 for treatment. Why should I be expected to pay out of pocket for a medical issue? I already contribute significantly through taxes and national insurance. The impacted ear wax was causing me intense discomfort - severe headaches, ear pain, and swallowing difficulties. A GP should have immediately arranged an urgent nurse appointment, yet they couldn't offer any solution. It appears they've dramatically reduced available treatments and are critically understaffed. The receptionists consistently create unnecessary barriers and demonstrate absolutely terrible customer service skills. Their approach is consistently obstructive and unhelpful.

I initiated the online triage process around 9:30 in the morning, and remarkably, the surgical center contacted me by 10 am. Dr. Amlani saw me by noon, despite her packed schedule, and still made time for my appointment. She was incredibly attentive and meticulous, and followed up with a phone call and text messages about my medication prescription later that same day.
