Feedback reflects a mixed experience across appointment access, communication, and clinical care. Patients consistently report significant difficulty reaching the practice by telephone, with many describing engaged lines, long wait times, and unresponsive booking systems that create substantial barriers to accessing appointments. The digital triage system receives mixed responses, with some finding it efficient and others experiencing delays or technical issues. Reception experience varies considerably, with some patients praising courteous and supportive staff while others describe dismissive attitudes and poor handling of sensitive information in public areas.
When patients do access clinical consultations, many report thorough and compassionate care from medical professionals, with particular praise for attentive listening, clear explanations, and comprehensive treatment approaches. Several patients highlight positive experiences with specific aspects of service delivery, including prompt responses to urgent requests, efficient prescription handling, and well-organised appointment processes. The practice's use of online platforms and digital systems is appreciated by those who can access them effectively.
However, systemic challenges persist around medication management, with reports of delays and administrative errors affecting continuity of care. Some patients express concern about the triage process creating barriers rather than facilitating appropriate access, particularly for vulnerable or elderly patients. The overall picture suggests capable clinical staff operating within a service experiencing significant capacity pressures, with inconsistent reception experiences and ongoing difficulties with telephone accessibility and appointment booking.

Incredible care and compassion at its finest
Truly exceptional medical procedure. I found myself at this facility twice this week - first for my personal treatment and then accompanying my daughter. The nursing staff demonstrated extraordinary compassion, working diligently to ensure both of us felt completely comfortable and thoroughly supported throughout our visits.

Nhs management fails patients with senseless policies
I understand the NHS is under significant strain, and I empathize with their challenges, but some management choices are absurd, insensitive, and ultimately counterproductive. How can a patient with a serious chronic condition under specialist care, who is clearly unwell and requires regular hospital infusions, be expected to navigate such convoluted processes for essential supportive treatments? Despite needing B12 injections and blood tests to manage their condition safely, the system forces them to receive B12 at one location and then separately travel to Stafford hospital for blood tests that could easily be done simultaneously. The inefficiency is mind-boggling - making vulnerable patients and their caregivers undertake multiple journeys for a procedure that would take mere minutes if coordinated sensibly. This approach lacks basic compassion and consideration. While I can understand separate arrangements for standalone blood tests, compelling families caring for seriously ill individuals to make two unnecessary trips is not just inconvenient, but fundamentally disrespectful and illogical.

Exceptional care and compassion from medical professionals
I'd like to express my sincere appreciation to Wendy at the front desk and Dr. Ceresa. Despite the challenges faced by the entire medical practice, including heightened workload and staff shortages, these two professionals have demonstrated exceptional dedication in providing me with outstanding care. My heartfelt thanks to them.

Frustrating healthcare that fails patients completely
Denying a routine prescription for a medication I've been taking long-term. Forced me to undergo an unnecessary blood test on Monday, and now it's Friday, just before the holiday season, and I'm still without my medication. They're now demanding I come in again for a blood pressure check and weigh-in. Why wasn't this handled during the initial visit if it's supposedly so critical? I'm now out of medication thanks to their incompetence and will likely be without it throughout Christmas. Their phone lines are completely unresponsive. This is an utterly appalling level of service - completely typical of their standard approach.

Frustrating triage system fails patients repeatedly
The staff at this practice, including the receptionists and doctors, are generally pleasant. However, accessing medical care is extremely challenging. You'll likely end up in the emergency room or calling 111 because your health condition has deteriorated, which could have been addressed much earlier if not for their absurd triage system. They claim the form will be reviewed within 2 working days, but in reality, it takes at least 48 hours after submission. Consequently, by the time the doctor reviews the form to assess appointment urgency, your symptoms are two days old and significantly worse. In my case, the pharmacist next door actually diagnosed my condition and advised I urgently needed a prescription, but he couldn't provide it. The receptionist simply instructed me to complete another triage form. I've done so but opted to self-medicate to manage symptoms until I can see a GP. Over the past three months, I've visited the surgery four times, and each time the waiting area has been nearly empty with only about 3 patients. This triage form is completely ineffective and fails patients entirely.

Worst medical support ever terrible customer experience
The customer support team was completely unhelpful and lacking any sense of understanding. When I reached out desperately trying to schedule an urgent medical appointment for my young child, they displayed zero concern for my situation. I explained my serious worry about a potentially dangerous strep infection, and instead of assisting me, the representative became abrupt and terminated the call abruptly. Their behavior was incredibly unprofessional and heartless!!!

Confusing medical note drama for my daughter
My kid's been pestering me about getting a medical excuse for her job, and she submitted her own self-certification. I'm wondering if we're in there too often, like some folks tend to be, or if it's because we're from the less desirable part of Stone.

Terrible medical service with zero expert support
I'd give zero stars if the rating system allowed it! The front desk staff are courteous, but the telephone support is subpar, and getting any meaningful medical guidance is virtually impossible. It's no surprise patients end up in emergency departments when local healthcare providers offer absolutely no assistance!

Worst medical practice ever absolute nightmare
If you're seeking a healthcare provider that lacks empathy, professionalism, and basic customer service, look no further than this practice. Be prepared for endless frustrating phone calls and unnecessary trips, as you'll need to book appointments well in advance of potential illness. Hoping to get a prescription? Good luck with that - their competence is questionable at best. The receptionists excel at being discourteous, and if you dare to file a formal complaint, expect absolutely no resolution. Their level of care is non-existent, but they certainly achieve top marks in being utterly unhelpful! At least they're consistently terrible, so you know exactly what you're getting into. 👍

Terrible gp service leaves patient frustrated and unheard
Hello, I've been a patient at this medical practice for some time, but my recent experience has convinced me to seek a new healthcare provider. When I called to schedule a doctor's appointment, the receptionist informed me that I needed to complete an application form, after which a doctor would contact me. I followed their instructions, submitted the form, and anticipated a doctor's call. Instead, I received a text message requesting details about my cough, which was challenging to describe accurately and convey the full extent of my discomfort. I provided the most comprehensive description possible, yet the doctor didn't even call me. They simply diagnosed me with a viral infection and claimed I would recover in two to seven weeks - an inadequate response for a trainee teacher. How can a doctor assess my health and breathing through a text message? It's complete nonsense. The doctor never called to evaluate my condition or listened to my chest, despite my hearing crackling sounds. I am thoroughly dissatisfied and will be leaving this practice immediately. This is an extremely impersonal and unsympathetic healthcare facility.

Worst medical experience ever terrible service
DO NOT CONSIDER THIS MEDICAL PRACTICE. Called at 8:30 AM and repeatedly attempted to schedule a doctor's appointment, completed an online urgent care form, and was contacted at 6:40 PM with instructions to travel from Yarnfield to Stoke Haywood Centre. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! IT'S TIME TO FIND A NEW HEALTHCARE PROVIDER!!!

Dangerous company with horrific customer harassment tactics
Hostile employees engaging in harassment, Despicable, DESPICABLE individuals who persistently contact my mother through phone calls and text messages, delivering explicit threats aimed at coercing her into compliance. These repeated, intimidating communications demand a comprehensive and thorough investigation into their unacceptable conduct.

Compassionate care during a difficult goodbye
When my mother was transferred to Mansion house surgery by her palliative care home, she sadly passed away on a Saturday evening. I was able to contact our undertaker to collect her. The surgery called me on Monday morning to explain that the doctor who needed to complete the death certificate was unavailable that day. However, the doctor rang me the next day to discuss the cause of death and ask if I had any concerns. She then signed the certificate, and the surgery informed me that the paperwork had been sent to the registry office. A few days later, I received a condolence card from the surgery, which I found incredibly thoughtful, especially considering my mother had only been under their care for the last three months of her life. They helped make an incredibly difficult time a bit more bearable, and I cannot thank them enough for their compassion and support.

Dangerous medical care puts grandad's life at risk
STEER CLEAR STEER CLEAR STEER CLEAR!! 0 STAR! I wouldn't even give a single star for this medical practice! My grandfather receives treatment here and has experienced constant problems, the employees are discourteous and completely ignore patient concerns, the prescription clerk Anna has arbitrarily discontinued my grandfather's medication without his consent, which ultimately led to his hospitalization! They've mailed him prescriptions he never requested and failed to send the medications he actually ordered. They're endangering his health by sending sugary protein drinks equivalent to 2 mars bars per serving to a type 1 diabetic! They've also sent him random creams and tablets he didn't order, with no explanation about their purpose or instructions for use! The entire operation is absolutely shameful! They blame staffing shortages and people being off sick, but that's not the patients' problem! They need to properly train their staff to perform their jobs competently instead of lounging around the surgery looking for attention! The office manager is completely ineffective and hasn't investigated anything. "I'll look into it and call you back" - one week later, no communication! What a shocking surprise!! AVOID - NOTHING BUT ENDLESS FRUSTRATION!!
