Practice listens well to care home staff concerns

I have nothing but good things to say about the practice. The clinicians who visit the residents I look after in a care home are always helpful, have a good relationship with all the staff and the residents. Their bedside manner is second to none. They are happy to speak to family members if they have any concerns and listen to the staff regarding the residents' needs and do what they can to help. Their dedication and passion really shows through on every visit. The rest of the team are always helpful whenever I have to ring and speak to them.

Receptionist phone queue made booking impossible

I would just like to say this practice was excellent at one time but has deteriorated quite rapidly. When attempting to contact the surgery by telephone, calls are consistently not answered and get disconnected. I have experienced significant difficulty getting through on multiple occasions, which is very frustrating.

Reception staff were polite and helpful

I recently switched to this practice following the closure of my previous surgery. Over a three-week period, I have consulted with two different clinicians and had a telephone conversation with another regarding the same matter, in addition to seeing the practice nurse. While I would ideally prefer continuity with the same doctor each time, I understand this is not always feasible. I am reassured that my medical records are accessible on screen during appointments, which ensures consistency in my care. The reception team have been courteous and supportive throughout my interactions with them. I am satisfied with my decision to register with this practice.

Staff actually listen and take time with you

I've had a wonderful experience on every visit. The clinician I see is compassionate and genuinely understands what matters to patients. The team are welcoming and there are always slots available when urgent care is needed. They engage attentively and show genuine interest, which I find reassuring compared to other healthcare settings I've attended. Perhaps some of the less positive reviews may come from individuals who tend to attribute difficulties to external factors rather than considering their own role. I haven't witnessed anyone being asked to leave during my time here. Everyone appears to be treated with courtesy from what I've observed. It's a solid practice so my thanks to the team. X

Reception staff dismissive when discussing my concerns

I found my experience at this practice deeply disappointing. The approach taken by the clinical staff was concerning. I felt that my request for appropriate support was not met, and I left feeling unwell and requiring assistance to walk without what I felt was adequate care. The staff seemed dismissive of my situation, particularly given circumstances I had disclosed about my medication. I was subsequently removed from the practice list, which I found upsetting and felt was unjust given the context of my circumstances. I believe this practice did not provide the standard of care I expected, and I feel my time and NHS resources were not used effectively. I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before registering here. I intend to pursue a formal complaint regarding my care.
