Long wait then missed appointment call

Waited 45 minutes for an appointment only to leave and then receive a phone call later in the day with a voicemail claiming they had attempted to contact me multiple times when this did not occur.

Appointment delayed but handled a blood draw accident well

Waited an hour past the scheduled appointment time, which was disappointing though an explanation was provided. During the blood draw, there was an incident where the needle was handled in a way that caused discomfort and resulted in some bleeding. The procedure had to be stopped at that point. While it was an unfortunate occurrence, the appropriate immediate response was given with pressure applied, and the resulting bruising was minimal afterwards.

Phlebotomist caused unnecessary bruising and pain

I've had blood tests taken many times and they're usually painless and straightforward, but on this occasion the experience was quite different. The procedure was uncomfortable, with sharp pain during and after the needle was removed. I was left with significant bruising that doesn't typically occur when I have blood work done elsewhere. I felt the technique used was less gentle than I'm accustomed to, and I have concerns about the approach taken. Additionally, I witnessed an interaction at reception where a patient was told by staff that their non-attendance at an appointment would negatively impact someone's personal plans. This comment felt inappropriate and unprofessional in a healthcare setting.

Quick callback and same-day appointment arranged

Got in touch with the surgery this morning regarding an urgent matter. A clinician called back within 10 minutes and promptly arranged an appointment for me that same day. I attended and was seen by a healthcare professional who carried out an examination, took imaging and photos which were sent on to the hospital. I am extremely thankful for this excellent level of care and support. The service was everything I could have hoped for. Much appreciated.
