Impossible to book a doctor's appointment

I've been attempting to schedule consultations at Marsh Green Medical Practice for myself and my small children (6 and 3 years old) since November, but each time I telephone, I'm informed that no appointment slots are open. This inability to access medical care is completely unacceptable. I'm dealing with significant health concerns that urgently require professional medical evaluation, yet I remain unable to consult with a physician. The entire experience is profoundly exasperating and disheartening. Patients should rightfully expect prompt and adequate healthcare services.

Terrible service left me with a uti

Had to give a star otherwise couldn't comment, but I want to express they're completely useless. Booking appointments is impossible, and my partner hasn't managed to secure a single one since registering. They abandoned me for over 3 weeks while I suffered from a UTI during pregnancy, which got so serious I was urgently hospitalized with a fever above 100. The situation remains unchanged - getting appointments is still a nightmare, and even when you do manage one, it's just a pointless phone consultation where they always have some pathetic excuse ready.

I cannot comprehend how anyone could criticize this practice - they deserve recognition for the outstanding care and dedication they provide to every single patient. Massive lung infection missed by careless nurse

I'm forced to give a star, though it doesn't deserve even that. I've since relocated and found a much superior medical practice! During my consultation, I informed the Asthma nurse about my poor health, describing yellow, green, and brown phlegm, along with wheezing and crackling. Her response was dismissive: "This is completely normal for Asthma patients" - without even conducting a basic chest examination! Two months later, after moving to Preston and registering with a new practice, I was still unwell. The new doctors immediately prescribed antibiotics and arranged a chest x-ray on the same day, revealing a significant lung infection! My current doctors are shocked by the previous practice's negligence. I required four Amoxicillin courses - an entire month of treatment - because they allowed the infection to worsen by ignoring my symptoms. Additionally, they failed to submit my son's referral for ADHD and autism assessment. A nurse at my new practice was equally appalled, noting the three-year delay. The previous reception even refused to provide the assessment centre's contact details, which further confirmed the original doctor's complete professional failure. Fortunately, the referral is now processed, and we'll be seen within five months through Right To Choose. This practice epitomizes medical negligence - lazy healthcare professionals who refuse to perform basic duties and casually dismiss serious health concerns. I absolutely recommend avoiding them. They deserve a thorough investigation and potential closure.

The entire team demonstrates remarkable helpfulness and prioritizes patient needs over administrative red tape. Amazing Practice

Oh my goodness, this practice is like a breath of fresh air. I joined here about 8 weeks ago and have had, tests and investigations already relating to my medical issues. Honestly I have the upmost respect for everyone I have encountered in the surgery. Both Doctors that I have seen have been amazing getting to the bottom of my medical issues and actually finding solutions. The nurse that I saw was lovely and very helpful, and they are supported by a very kind, helpful and understanding reception team. I wish that I had joined this practice long before I did. After being a member for approximately two months, I've already undergone numerous tests and examinations addressing my health concerns. I cannot express enough admiration for every single staff member I've interacted with. The two physicians I've consulted have been exceptional, diligently working to diagnose and resolve my medical challenges. The nurse was wonderfully compassionate and supportive, complemented by an incredibly kind and understanding reception staff. I deeply regret not becoming a patient here much earlier. Worst medical practice ever

Attempting to reach them via phone is futile; they consistently ignore incoming calls. Would it not be more practical to shut down their operation entirely and redirect these so-called "medical professionals" to employment at a fast-food establishment?

Knee pain and no medication help

Marsh green medical practice is absolutely the worst medical facility I've ever encountered. I submitted a medication request on Thursday the 27th, and they claimed it would be ready within 48 hours. My partner went to collect it from the pharmacy on Saturday the 29th, but it wasn't available. I was forced to contact 111 emergency services for temporary medication, who advised me to follow up with my own doctors. When I called Marsh green medical practice at 8am, the staff member said they would expedite the process. After waiting, I checked with the pharmacy, who confirmed they still hadn't received anything. Calling the doctors again, I was told the doctor hadn't signed off on the prescription and was told to call back in an hour. Upon doing so, I was informed the doctor was in clinic and would sign it at 5pm - completely useless when I urgently need powerful pain medication. I've been in excruciating pain all day. I strongly caution anyone against using this practice, as they cannot guarantee medication when needed and their doctors are rarely available. Getting a same-day appointment is impossible, with staff consistently claiming no availability and redirecting you to call back the next day. The attached image of my knee demonstrates my critical need for strong pain relief, as I cannot bear weight on it. They don't deserve a single star for their incompetence.

Dianne's terrible customer service ruined everything

Dianne represents the epitome of poor customer service - her demeanor is consistently hostile and condescending. Every interaction I've witnessed, both in-person and over the phone, has been marked by her dismissive and disrespectful attitude. She seems to speak to patients with contempt, and her communication style is entirely inappropriate for a professional setting. It's clear she lacks the interpersonal skills required for her role, and management should either provide her with comprehensive customer service training or consider reassigning her to a position that minimizes direct client contact.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC! My infant daughter has been deprived of her essential nutritional supplement because the physician showed complete negligence in forwarding the necessary prescription throughout the entire day and has now departed for home. Her specialized formula is waiting at the pharmacy but remains inaccessible due to administrative incompetence and the doctor's failure to submit the required documentation. I made four separate phone calls during the day, and yet no resolution has been achieved. Dr Hussain and the reception team should be thoroughly ashamed of their unprofessional conduct.
