Repeatedly instructed to call back later, I've been attempting to secure an appointment for nearly a week. Once an appointment is finally obtained, I'm brushed aside with no meaningful assistance. I've been forced to advocate for urgent tests and persistently follow up for results through numerous phone calls. The receptionists and doctors display a complete lack of empathy and seem utterly indifferent to my concerns.

Frustrating wait for basic medical care

Previously, this medical practice was reliable, but things deteriorated quickly. When I attempted to schedule an appointment, I was informed no slots were available for two weeks. Upon calling back, I again encountered a two-week waiting period. After consulting the GP alliance, they promised to forward a note to the doctors for me to be seen. Eventually, I secured an appointment on October 26th and underwent blood tests. After waiting two weeks for the results, I called and was given an appointment at an inconvenient time. Consequently, I received another appointment at the end of November to discuss my medical situation.

Wigan surgery's shocking adhd referral fail

Unbelievable Medical Malpractice! Terrible service that defies belief. I was promised an ADHD referral back in April by the surgery/doctor, but when I contacted my ADHD clinic, guess what? No referral has been sent! After 7 months of waiting, I'm told I'm not even on the list!! This is the most appalling surgery in Wigan! - The receptionists couldn't care less, dismissively telling me "nothing I can do, speak to the doctor on Monday!!" I am absolutely enraged!!!!!!!! I demand my appointment first thing Monday to resolve this issue definitively! "Livid" doesn't even begin to describe my anger. I sent the forms to the surgery's email on 4 Apr 2023 at 15:44, which still sits in my inbox with zero action taken - pure NEGLECT!

Constant texts driving me crazy

I aim to minimize interactions with them, only engaging when prescription renewal is necessary. Despite repeatedly requesting cessation of their text messages, which I find intrusive and harassing, they continue to flood my inbox. Their inability to perform this straightforward task leads me to conclude they would be utterly incompetent at handling more complex matters. Their service is dismally inadequate, bordering on humiliation. P.s. Yet another identical message has landed (27th March), complete with the same redundant Google review link and a non-functional NHS link.
