Phone appointments felt dismissive and unhelpful

If I could give zero stars I would avoid this surgery entirely. There were significant delays in identifying my child's dietary sensitivity, taking over a month to reach a diagnosis. Additionally, I experienced years of inadequate care regarding my own health concerns, feeling that my symptoms were not taken seriously. During a remote appointment, when I explained how severely my condition was affecting me, the response felt dismissive and unhelpful. I also had a negative interaction regarding a contraceptive choice, and subsequently was not referred for necessary blood tests at my follow-up appointment. I intend to escalate my concerns through the appropriate complaints procedure as I believe this practice demonstrates a concerning pattern of not listening to patients. I have struggled to find clinicians at this surgery who take my concerns seriously, which is particularly troubling given that these issues also involved advocating for my child's health and wellbeing.

Surgery wouldn't cooperate with appointment transfers

Disappointing experience at this practice. I missed several appointments, partly due to not receiving a reminder for one occasion, and partly because suitable appointment times outside standard hours were not available to me. After registering elsewhere, I found the transfer of my medical records to the new practice was delayed, which caused inconvenience when I needed access to information about my ongoing treatment. I would recommend considering other options.

This practice was disappointing. Both my partner and I felt we were treated unfairly by the reception team, and when we raised our concerns, we felt dismissed rather than heard by the clinician who reviewed the complaint. We were left feeling let down by the experience.

Impossible to book appointments here

Extremely disappointing experience at this practice. Obtaining an appointment proves very difficult. When you do manage to see someone, concerns are not taken seriously. If you receive a referral to a specialist and they provide recommendations, the doctors here tend to reject that guidance, despite having referred you specifically for their expertise. Overall, the service falls well short of expectations. I would recommend looking for alternative healthcare provision.

Reception staff made the difference here

I would like to share my positive experience at this medical centre and express my gratitude to the clinical team. A particular member of the reception staff I have encountered over the years has always been so helpful and courteous. I admire them for what they do every day. The nursing staff have also been excellent, always taking time to listen, when I am sure they are under considerable pressure. As for the clinician I saw, I cannot thank them enough for the prompt referral and professional care when it was needed. I just want to say how much I appreciate the service provided.

Referral wasn't sent before appointment

Received a referral for a blood test with a booking link and arranged an appointment accordingly. Upon arriving for the test, I discovered that no information had been forwarded to the hospital regarding what the blood work was for. When I contacted the surgery to inquire about this, I was informed that the referral had been post-dated and had not yet been sent to the hospital. This resulted in wasted time on my part, as I had to rearrange my work shift and ended up finishing much later than planned. I found this experience to be very frustrating and felt the service fell well short of expectations.

This practice has become increasingly frustrating to use. Obtaining an in-person appointment feels nearly impossible, and the waiting times are extremely lengthy. The telephone lines are consistently busy, and when you do manage to speak with clinical staff, they often seem rushed and unwilling to engage in meaningful discussion about your concerns.

Impossible to book face to face appointments

This practice has not met my expectations. Obtaining an in-person appointment has proven very difficult, even when seeking care for a younger family member. Reaching the reception team requires considerable persistence, and when contact is finally made, telephone consultations are typically the only option available. Should you be unavailable for a scheduled telephone appointment, it appears the slot is simply cancelled without further attempts to reschedule. I would recommend considering alternatives.

Missed phone call appointment with no callback attempt

I had a very disappointing experience with this surgery. I waited throughout the evening for a phone consultation that was scheduled for a particular day. When the call finally came through at 19.43, just a couple of minutes before closing time, the person on the line said hello a few times and then disconnected. They made no attempt to ring back or reschedule, which left me feeling like they were simply trying to finish their shift rather than provide proper care. I would not recommend this practice to others and would suggest looking elsewhere for your healthcare needs.

Impossible to book an appointment here

This has to be one of the poorest medical practices I've experienced. If you're prepared to make numerous phone calls just to try and secure an appointment, only to be told none are available, then this surgery might be for you. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your healthcare needs, as I found the overall service to be quite disappointing.
