Attempting to schedule an appointment here is incredibly challenging. The moment Econsult opens, it seems to be fully booked. Trying to secure a slot by phone is nearly impossible, and the reception staff have been particularly unhelpful and dismissive. During my consultation, a doctor interrupted me mid-sentence and then mockingly chuckled, which left me feeling so uncomfortable that I fell silent. Additionally, they've repeatedly failed to follow through on phone appointments. The overall service quality is absolutely abysmal. They desperately need to improve their professional standards and communication.

Frustrating healthcare experience with medication troubles

I've been a long-time patient at this practice, and their service has seriously deteriorated. After a severe fall requiring a shoulder replacement, I was discharged with pain medication, including codeine. Despite being prescribed a substantial dose, they would only provide one box. Attempting to contact the practice was incredibly frustrating - no appointments were available, and I couldn't obtain my medications without first speaking to a prescriber. I was advised to either wait until the next day or call 111. When I did call 111, they provided a short-term supply until I could get more from my doctor. This morning, I'm back to square one. I've been instructed to take 1-2 tablets 4 times daily, depending on pain levels. I'm trying to limit myself to one tablet to make them last, while simultaneously attempting my physiotherapy, which is quite painful. If I strictly take one tablet 4 times daily, I'll have just enough to last until tomorrow. I'm hoping I can successfully navigate this challenging situation.

I absolutely cannot endorse this medical facility. My son was essentially dismissed from their practice after we urgently needed medical attention for my 3-month-old granddaughter. When we initially requested to see a doctor, they refused and suggested calling back the following day. We were adamant and refused to leave until she received medical care. Only after we firmly stood our ground did they quickly locate an available appointment for her.

Worst medical practice ever terrible healthcare

Absolutely dreadful healthcare service with shocking management. When my daughter was seriously unwell, I couldn't secure a GP appointment for an entire week, despite persistently calling every morning from 8:30am. Between 8:30 and 9am, their phone system plays an automated greeting and then disconnects the call. Attempting to call after 10am results in being told no appointments remain and being redirected to dial 111. This frustrating cycle repeated daily for seven consecutive days. After hospital doctors examined my child and recommended follow-up tests at the GP, with documentation entered into their system, we still couldn't book an appointment despite relentless calling from their opening time. No appointments meant no essential tests could be conducted. I've also heard numerous similar complaints from other patients about this practice. My strong advice: steer clear of this clinic at all costs!!!
