Tough to Schedule, but Great Care

The timing for scheduling appointments at 8:30 is quite challenging. Most individuals are either commuting to their workplace or handling school drop-offs during this period, which makes booking a slot understandably tricky. Despite the scheduling difficulties, I must emphasize that the medical staff are exceptional. Throughout my visits, I've consulted with a nurse and two locum doctors who have consistently been professional, approachable, and accurate in their medical assessments.

Impossible to Get a Doctor's Appointment

The appointment scheduling system is a nightmare for anyone with a job or parental responsibilities. Trying to secure a slot when the line opens at 8:30am is an exercise in futility. When you finally manage to call, you'll find yourself in a seemingly endless queue, guaranteeing you'll be late for work. Even if you somehow succeed in booking an appointment, the only available times are in the morning, forcing you to take a day off. As for the doctors themselves, I can't provide any insight since I've never actually seen one during my attempts to access their services.

Frustrating wait times on line 55

Every time there are no available slots on line 55 before calling. Arrive at the GP and find it empty, with no patients. They schedule phone appointments but then fail to call and mark them as unattended in the system. Some reception staff completely ignore what you're trying to tell them, and this happens constantly. Most of the time, there are simply no appointments available. I was at the clinic with my 4-year-old son who was experiencing severe coughing. The doctor asked if I wanted antibiotics for my son but then said he was clear/okay. When I eventually requested antibiotics, my son started to improve. Is this really how it works? What is happening with these GPs, doctors, and staff?

Terrible Customer Service at Veteran's Surgery

Utterly revolting experience. Endured a 30-minute wait for a callback, only to have the phone ring briefly before cutting off completely. Upon visiting the clinic in person, I was addressed condescendingly, as if I were a mere child. Their claim of supporting veterans is nothing more than a blatant falsehood.

Terrible GP surgery with broken systems

This GPS practice is absolutely the most terrible I've encountered throughout my UK residency. I've submitted two formal complaints, with only the first receiving any acknowledgement. Attempts to transfer to another medical surgery have proven futile, as no practices appear to be accepting new patients. During my last nurse consultation, she shockingly asked if I was "still in a dark place" - after reviewing my records, it seemed they viewed me as mentally unstable. The majority of their physicians are so unprofessional that I wouldn't consider hiring them for any role. There was one exceptional practice nurse who genuinely listened to my concerns, but I later discovered she no longer worked at the facility. Their waiting room's clock is perpetually incorrect, and their overhead computer system is permanently non-functional, causing doctors and nurses to waste significant time running between corridors - time that could be used seeing additional patients. The problems extend beyond medical care, including issues with their car park and the fact the building isn't even NHS-owned.

Nightmare Phone Queue at Local Surgery

What a complete disaster of a medical practice, spending 3 weeks attempting to schedule an appointment by calling three times daily, enduring 45-minute hold times, only to be disconnected when just moments from speaking with someone, and even when finally getting through, discovering no available slots for the next month. This clinic operates with the competence of a cartoon and is utterly incompetent!!

Stressful wait for critical breast exam appointment

My significant other discovered a breast abnormality, causing her significant distress and anxiety. The medical facility initially set up a consultation, but they've already rescheduled twice within a mere four-day period and have now made another cancellation call. "Inconsiderate" doesn't even begin to describe their behavior, and "useless" falls short of capturing my frustration. If I could fully articulate my emotions, I would, but I think my point is crystal clear!!!!!
