I wouldn't even go there...

So over the last 6 or so years, I have been on opioids to manage painful limbs. For the past 6 or so years, I have withdrawn from this medication once. Until yesterday. So for the past week or so, the doctor has forced me to withdraw from this medication because he refused to prescribe me them, without giving any alternative solutions to prevent withdrawls. Now my problem is that when I withdraw, the leg trembles are so severe that it causes way too much pain in the limbs and its enough pain to make me contemplate suicide to end it. But I tell the doctor this and he doesn't care. They claim to have a service of duty of care to the patient and still insists that I WILL withdraw from the medication anyway, although he could have given me some medications to make the withdrawal easier and less painful to me. But he didn't. It's safe to say that Dr R. does not physically care about his patients and probably never will. I suggest that in future, if you wish to see a doctor for ANYTHING, see either Dr Peter Miles, or go with a different surgery.

Confusing Hours Made Calling Staff a Lifesaver

I'd award zero stars if possible, as their online hours seem perpetually inaccurate and constantly display "closed" status. It's highly unlikely that senior citizens could successfully schedule an appointment at this terrible facility. After numerous attempts, I finally called the dental staff to confirm the health center's operational status. The representative who answered was incredibly helpful, proactively investigating the center's availability and taking my contact information in case she encountered communication difficulties. This particular staff member absolutely merits a five-star rating.

Dismissive Doctor Ignored My ADHD Diagnosis

Dr D. disappointingly declined to honor my ADHD diagnosis and provide the necessary medication, citing his discomfort with prescribing a controlled substance, even with a psychiatrist's diagnosis and referral for collaborative care. It's disheartening that contemporary medical practice still suffers from a profound lack of understanding, resulting in discriminatory treatment based on specific medical conditions. Such attitudes contribute to devastating consequences like increased suicide rates, exacerbated mental health challenges, and prolonged patient suffering. While I'm certain medical professionals don't intentionally aim to worsen these situations, their actions are nonetheless harmful. Consider a hypothetical scenario where a GP refuses insulin to a diabetic patient simply because they're "uncomfortable" - the public outcry would be immediate and justified!

Terrible Care and Rude Receptionists

Complete garbage, impossible to secure an appointment even in urgent situations, and when you finally do get one, the physicians are incredibly unwilling to provide assistance. This is undoubtedly the most terrible medical facility imaginable - steer clear at all expenses. Additionally, I must emphasize that the front desk staff are extremely discourteous, displaying an unnecessary level of rudeness in their interactions. If you're currently using this health center, I strongly advise finding an alternative facility that genuinely cares about patient well-being as soon as humanly possible!

Endless Wait and Frustrating Phone Calls

Completely absurd, the wait times are endless, and just when you finally reach the front of the line, they abruptly disconnect the call. Moreover, they deliberately claim they can't understand what you're saying. The doctors are equally unprofessional, initiating calls without giving patients a chance to respond. Consequently, you're forced to rehash the same information repeatedly, with no meaningful communication or resolution. This medical practice urgently requires permanent shutdown.

Mask Mandate Ignored at This Medical Center

What's the purpose of plastering signs around declaring MASKS ARE MANDATORY INSIDE THIS FACILITY when everyone completely ignores them? Moreover, when the security personnel is lounging in a chair, engrossed in his mobile device and maskless, what standard of behavior can you realistically anticipate? Upon raising the mask issue with employees, I received a dismissive response: 'you might want to wear one if possible, but nobody really cares' - and unsurprisingly, the front desk staff were equally unmasked. This place deserves zero rating, but I'll reluctantly grant 1 star solely because the doctor, despite being 25 minutes behind schedule, was relatively helpful.
