Surgery closure left us without continuity

Wasn't with this surgery for long, it was adequate but after a staff member passed away earlier in the year the practice subsequently closed down, and I was transferred to a different location in the area.

Temporary doctors didn't listen to my concerns

I had to leave this surgery because I felt my ongoing health concerns were not being managed as effectively as they had been previously. Following a change in the medical team, I found the approach to my care had altered significantly. I was disappointed with the level of attention and continuity I received, and felt that decisions made about my treatment did not align with my expectations of proper medical care.

Practice refused support during difficult time

I was denied access to necessary medication that I require for managing my health condition. During the discussion, I was informed that the cost of the treatment was a concern and that continued provision could not be sustained. The medication in question was essential for helping me maintain control of my condition. The surgery has continued to refuse my requests, citing pandemic-related reasons, and I feel my appeals for assistance have been disregarded.

Easy advance booking and friendly staff here

I have been a patient at this practice for approximately two years and have consistently had a positive experience. Booking appointments in advance is straightforward, which differs from some other surgeries that only offer same-day slots. The team members are welcoming and approachable, and the clinical staff have been particularly helpful. The practice has also been understanding when I have arrived slightly behind schedule.

Nurses provide excellent support despite phone queue waits

I am a long-standing patient at this practice due to having ongoing health concerns, and I am generally satisfied with the care I receive. I tend to have most of my appointments with the nursing team rather than the doctor, as they manage my day-to-day health needs. When I do see the doctor, they sometimes seem pressed for time and appear somewhat preoccupied, though they demonstrate genuine care and compassion. The nursing staff are exceptional and form the heart of the practice. Both nurses are highly skilled and dedicated. I regularly see one nurse in particular who has been absolutely wonderful, providing me with excellent support during challenging periods, and I feel confident contacting them for guidance during practice hours whenever needed. The reception and administrative team are also reliable and professional. There can occasionally be a short wait for calls to be answered, but they consistently demonstrate helpfulness and courtesy. I am grateful to the entire team for the support and care they provide to me.

Rushed appointment missed serious illness diagnosis

I had a very disappointing experience at my recent appointment. I brought my young child in for an assessment and was given one diagnosis, but when we attended hospital the following day, a different condition was identified instead. My child has since required hospital admission over the festive period. I felt the clinician seemed rushed during the consultation and didn't take adequate time to properly examine my child. The only positive aspect of my visit was the nursing staff member, who was genuinely helpful and caring.

Poor communication with supplier accounts

We have provided services to this GP practice and have experienced significant difficulties with their payment processes. The accounts team has been unresponsive and communication regarding supplier matters has been inadequate. We have decided not to continue our business relationship with this organisation.
