Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff nightmare

If alternative healthcare providers are available, I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere. The female receptionist displayed an unacceptable level of unprofessionalism, showing a dismissive and discourteous attitude. Due to incorrect online documentation for my x-ray, I was turned away from the local hospital while experiencing significant illness. When I tried to address these issues with another reception staff member, my concerns were politely yet effectively brushed aside. As a result, I have since transferred my medical registration to a different practice. My advice is simple: steer clear of this facility.

Unhelpful receptionist ruins medical practice experience

I received a text to schedule a blood test but encountered difficulties logging into the Swiftqueue system. Dr Roberts suggested I visit reception to arrange the booking, as he also experienced login problems. Today, I finally had time to address the issue. The first receptionist, who appeared to be of Spanish descent, was unhelpful, disinterested, and failed to listen to my concerns. She used answering the phone as an excuse, despite three other staff members being available to take calls. I'm a patient too!!! Eventually, the young gentleman beside her stepped in and assisted me in resolving the problem. THAT WAS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! It seems hypocritical to display posters urging patients to be courteous when the receptionist displays such an attitude. That initial staff member reflected poorly on the reception team and does not uphold the standards of Mildmay Medical Practice. Based on previous reviews, it's evident that the reception staff require training in customer interaction and a reminder of their professional responsibilities.

Another dreadful encounter with their service. They contacted me at 10:10 about a scheduled appointment at 11:00, forcing me to hastily depart from work. Upon arrival, no trace of the appointment existed in their system. To add insult to injury, the receptionist abruptly terminated the call without offering any explanation. Previously, they scheduled a phone consultation and never followed through. When I attempted to seek clarification, they flatly denied rescheduling. I'm escalating this matter.

Unprofessional staff ruins decades of patient loyalty

The front desk staff displayed a shocking lack of professionalism when interacting with my elderly mother during her attempt to schedule an appointment. When my mother accidentally dropped the phone, the receptionist began shouting the appointment details in an aggressive and harsh manner, which I could clearly hear. This was particularly offensive given that my mother has been a loyal patient at this medical practice for over three decades. The manner of communication was completely inappropriate and utterly disrespectful. To make matters worse, the receptionist abruptly terminated the call without any consideration. Such conduct is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the entire medical practice, and this attitude desperately needs to be addressed.

The incredibly efficient, compassionate team demonstrates remarkable understanding, particularly with my elderly mother, with empathetic doctors even going above and beyond by conducting home visits when she was unable to come to the clinic. Phone calls are invariably answered within moments by knowledgeable staff, and when they identify a significant concern, they typically arrange a doctor's telephone consultation within a couple of hours. The physician can then determine whether an urgent same-day in-person appointment is necessary or if alternative communication methods would be more appropriate. Unlike typical medical practices, their waiting area never becomes overcrowded or uncomfortable. Instead, they meticulously manage patient flow, ensuring only two or three individuals are present in the spacious waiting room, which effectively minimizes cross-infection risks. This streamlined approach is crucial to delivering a smooth, reassuring, and stress-free patient experience. Since the practice's management changed a few years ago, it has undergone a remarkable transformation. With each interaction, I continue to be thoroughly impressed by their consistently high standards.

Terrible doctor traumatizes worried mother and baby

I've waited a day to see if I could calm down and let it go. However, I genuinely believe my experience yesterday merits a 1-star review of this medical practice. I brought my 6-month-old baby in because she had a high fever, was vomiting, and clearly distressed. After monitoring her symptoms overnight and receiving an unsatisfactory phone consultation with 111, I sought help from my GP. Despite initially agreeing to see me that day, I was seen by the most unprofessional doctor imaginable. He was rude, cold, condescending, intimidating, and completely unhelpful. He briefly examined her and dismissively stated, "it's just a virus." As a new mother with a record showing we rarely seek medical attention, I was appalled. No parent should be made to feel as belittled as I was. The advice is to seek help, yet the moment you do, you're immediately judged. I acknowledge the system is broken and that healthcare professionals are tired, overworked, and underpaid. I wish things were different. However, I cannot excuse such unprofessional conduct and poor bedside manner. The GP simply texted me information instead of providing proper guidance, which was incredibly lazy and inadequate. While I've had positive experiences with nurses during my daughter's vaccinations, both the 6-week and 6-month check-ups with the doctors have been thoroughly disappointing.

Amazing service from caring healthcare professionals

The front desk personnel are absolutely wonderful and supportive. My family and I recently relocated from Glasgow to London, and we encountered some complications with our medical documentation and NHS registration. One of the staff members diligently tracked down our information for us. In particular, Roberto has been an incredible asset - he's efficiently managed our appointments and prescriptions.
