Terrible reception service from rude nhs staff

A receptionist named Karen demonstrates appalling unprofessionalism at this facility. She consistently fails to respond to door chimes and neglects to properly verify patient information or provide appropriate assistance. I escalated my concerns to the manager Helen, yet Karen remains employed. This represents the most abysmal service I've encountered within the NHS. When confronted about her errors, she becomes defensive, fabricates excuses, and becomes verbally aggressive. On two separate instances, her deplorable attitude left my children emotionally distraught and upset.

Quick and caring medical service

I've only interacted with this medical practice a few times recently, but each encounter has been remarkably positive and supportive. During my most recent visit regarding a health issue, they scheduled me an appointment almost immediately. The general practitioner quickly assessed my condition and provided a prescription. What truly impressed me was his proactive approach, asking if I had any additional health concerns - something quite rare, as many clinics strictly limit discussions to a single issue per consultation. While other reviews have highlighted problems with front desk personnel, I personally haven't encountered such challenges. It's possible those negative experiences involved a specific staff member who may no longer be working there.

Frustrated patient struggles with healthcare system failure

For those in the Clinical Research field, the workload has escalated dramatically. It seems unfair that General Practitioners aren't putting in the same effort. Pre-existing issues have now worsened, with surgeries completely shutting down. I'm dealing with conjunctivitis for the third day, and my condition is deteriorating, making work challenging. This morning, I called the surgery and was instructed to collect eye drops from Well pharmacy after 3 pm. Fantastic! Yet, when I arrived, nothing was prepared. The surgery receptionist explained that no doctors were available to sign prescriptions, and other patients faced identical problems. Have a wonderful holiday, dear colleagues, and enjoy yourselves!

Terrible Customer Service 😾👐🏼 The reception staff's attitude was incredibly unprofessional. She abruptly ended our call, claiming she was overwhelmed with work, and promised to return my call. After waiting three hours with no callback, I attempted to reach out again, only to find her even less responsive. Avoid this place!

Transformed surgery with friendly staff and better service

The establishment has significantly improved compared to its previous state. In the past, there was a notoriously difficult employee who would abruptly terminate phone calls, creating a terrible customer experience. Her unprofessional behavior likely contributed to the earlier negative reputation. CURRENTLY, however, that problematic staff member seems to have disappeared, and the clinic now operates like a standard urban medical practice. The environment is quite pleasant, with staff members displaying a commendable level of friendliness and responsiveness. I've personally encountered numerous positive interactions at this location.

Terrible medical procedure! The physicians display complete incompetence. The front desk staff are exceptionally discourteous and unaccommodating! There's zero regard for patient welfare or individual worries. My prescribed medication was arbitrarily switched without my input. I strongly recommend avoiding this medical practice altogether.

The front desk staff display an appalling lack of compassion. Every patient deserves medical attention... how can the receptionist determine who matters more: me or a critically ill infant? The "senior receptionist" named VAL brazenly declared no available slots, yet I could distinctly hear scheduling happening behind the scenes?? ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Terrible service and unhelpful clinic staff

I've been a patient at this surgery for years without any previous issues. Recently, my wife discovered an old letter from an eye specialist discussing her cataract and recommended waiting period before surgery. We patiently waited for a GP consultation appointment, but nothing materialized. When we visited the clinic earlier this week (around 25/3 or 26/3), they claimed no knowledge of the original letter. We were instructed to return on Friday to schedule a special GP appointment. On 29/3/2019 at 11:45, we met with a young receptionist who, without even checking her system, abruptly stated no appointments were available and we must call back at specific times to book. Her demeanor was completely indifferent, seemingly wanting to dismiss us as quickly as possible. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service. Such an individual is clearly unsuited to a customer-facing role and lacks the basic interpersonal skills required. The clinic must ensure their staff treat patients with dignity and respect, and hire personnel who genuinely care about patient experience.

Rude reception staff ruined my entire experience

The reception staff are incredibly indifferent and unresponsive. I'm baffled by their unprofessional attitude towards customers. Does anyone even pay attention to these complaints? It seems like no one is listening. I'm not asking for extraordinary service, but basic courtesy should be standard. I always treat people with respect, and I expect the same in return. Over the past five years, I've encountered numerous negative interactions with their front desk personnel, which is making me seriously consider finding a different medical practice.
