Attentive team made me feel heard

I have no complaints about this medical practice and the excellent staff members there. They consistently demonstrate attentiveness, patience, courtesy and efficiency in their work. Even during challenging circumstances, they have remained helpful and accommodating. I am grateful for their service.

Reception staff were dismissive and made me uncomfortable

I attended appointments at my previous practice where I felt the clinical guidance provided was not appropriate for my condition. Subsequently, I experienced significant ongoing health difficulties, and later specialist consultations suggested that my situation may be challenging to resolve, even with potential surgical intervention. I believe that a more thorough assessment and appropriate emergency care at the time could have made a difference to my outcome. When I raised concerns about my care, I felt that my complaint was not taken seriously or properly addressed. I also had concerns about the accuracy of my medical records and felt there were inconsistencies in the documentation of which clinicians I had seen. During my time at my previous practice, I found interactions with reception staff to be unhelpful and dismissive, which contributed to my overall sense of dissatisfaction with the service. The clinical team's manner also felt condescending and made me feel undervalued as a patient. Since transferring to my current practice, I have experienced a marked difference in the quality of care. Both the reception staff and clinical team demonstrate genuine attentiveness and compassion, creating a supportive environment that I did not experience previously.

Quick appointment but staff seemed disinterested

Had not visited for some time but was able to secure an appointment the following day. When I mentioned I was unable to attend due to work commitments, the staff member appeared to become less engaged with helping me. They did not take my details. This was a disappointing experience.

Receptionists handle triage calls with genuine helpfulness

I am extremely satisfied with this practice. The appointment management system functions very effectively - the reception team consistently provides me with excellent support. I feel assured that every member of staff demonstrates professionalism and compassion in their work. While consultations occasionally extend beyond their scheduled time, I view this positively as an indication that the clinician will dedicate sufficient attention to my needs when I am seen. A family member who visited received outstanding care during a sensitive period. I remain very pleased to be registered here and have been for a considerable number of years.

Appointments consistently run late without notice

Appointments consistently run behind schedule and I have never been seen at the appointed time. I attended regarding a musculoskeletal concern following an accident. I was prescribed medication and a diagnostic scan was arranged. However, later that same day the medication was changed by another clinician. After waiting more than three weeks for the scan appointment, I contacted the surgery to follow up, only to discover the scan had been cancelled by a different doctor and was never actually booked. The surgery did not inform me of this change. It appears to me that there may be communication issues between clinicians at this practice. The overall service has been disappointing. I am aware that other patients have also raised concerns about this practice. I would suggest considering alternative options if possible.

Nurses dismissive and unhelpful with patient concerns

The nursing staff have generally been unhelpful on most occasions, appearing dismissive and unwilling to engage properly. The practice would benefit from addressing staff attitudes and improving overall service standards.
