I attend appointments with the nursing team at least every 12 weeks, and they consistently demonstrate professionalism, clear communication and courtesy. One particular nurse stands out for embodying all these qualities whilst also going above and beyond through their meticulous approach and compassionate manner. Their care made me feel genuinely looked after in a way reminiscent of traditional nursing standards. The GPs, whilst appointments can sometimes be challenging to book through online or telephone channels, are equally thorough in their approach. They take time to listen carefully, conduct proper examinations and arrange appropriate follow-up investigations to fully understand health concerns, which reflects a genuine commitment to patient care. Overall, this practice is a particularly welcoming place to visit when unwell, as the attentive approach of all staff members contributes significantly to feeling better and supported throughout the care process.

I have been a patient at this practice for over 40 years. I have witnessed many changes throughout this time, some positive and some less favourable. The reception team have consistently demonstrated helpfulness, with certain staff members being particularly supportive. In recent years, I have primarily been seen by nurse practitioners rather than GPs. My main concern continues to be the telephone appointment booking system. When calling from 8am onwards, I frequently find myself waiting in a queue of up to 25 callers, and I am subsequently charged for the extended time spent on hold, which appears to be a result of the practice's service provider arrangements.
