While this approach may not suit all patients, I was fortunate to secure a same-day booking. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful, and the doctor provided excellent care. Absolutely terrible experience, the clinic appears to lack proper medical staff, and after tolerating an unwelcoming front desk employee, you're ultimately seen by a healthcare worker instead of an actual physician. Switching to another neighborhood medical practice was definitely the smartest decision I've made.

Incompetent clinic fails and terrifies family

The reception staff are absolutely terrible, and they somehow managed to misplace critical medical samples for my young daughter, taking almost two weeks to finally admit their mistake. The doctors are even worse! My daughter was experiencing stomach issues, and the physician suggested only two horrific potential diagnoses: cystic fibrosis or Crohn's disease. Our entire family was left in absolute terror while waiting for results that were initially lost. Thankfully, she was diagnosed with neither of those devastating conditions! It's unacceptable for a family doctor to immediately jump to the most catastrophic possibilities! This is utterly sick and disgusting! A special thanks to Dr. Raszhe or whatever your name is - what a disgraceful medical practice! This incident was just the latest in a long series of unprofessional behavior and complete incompetence. We've only remained with these absolute clowns because my wife's complex medical history was tangled up with various hospital connections. I cannot wait to leave this practice! And they're only open two and a half days per week? Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!

I strongly advise against this medical practice for anyone struggling with anxiety. Multiple reviews echo my sentiment about the discourteous reception staff, and I concur completely. Despite scheduling an appointment for 8:10am during peak traffic hours, I arrived at an empty facility just 15 minutes later. To my dismay, they claimed they were too overwhelmed to conduct my urgent 5-minute blood test. Frustrated, I scheduled a second appointment for the following day at the identical time. While I arrived punctually, the surgery was inexplicably closed - likely due to the receptionist's error of booking me at a different location without notification, or her failure to recognize their impending closure. Consequently, the entire experience has been so distressing that I will indefinitely postpone seeking medical care, as the anxiety provoked is simply too overwhelming to contemplate future visits.

Frustrating registration and prescription management nightmare

I encountered difficulties accessing the website, which requires mandatory registration before use. I was prescribed Allopurinol with clear packaging instructions stating "Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to." However, it hasn't been added to my NHS repeat prescription list. If I don't resolve this administrative issue, I'll be unable to maintain my prescribed medication regimen.

Terrible medical care for chronic health patients

Tried explaining my situation to the staff. Multiple problematic encounters at this practice with various personnel. Hostile receptionists, arbitrarily changing my appointment without notification and then demanding I reschedule upon arrival. A receptionist rudely told me I "can't have it all ways!" when I requested an afternoon slot due to health constraints. Doctors are reluctant to administer injections, claiming it's "a nurse's job," but no alternative staff are available. When the nurse is on holiday with no replacement, my urgent weekly injection is neglected, demonstrating their uncaring approach. The medical staff appear unsympathetic and disinterested in my wellbeing, leaving me feeling distrustful and frustrated. A nurse discarded my medical sample without proper explanation, causing me extreme anxiety that led to hours of distress. There's no continuity of care, which is critical for my mental health management. I requested a list of available doctors but was denied due to ongoing staff reorganization. The reception made no attempt to apologize for their mishandling of my crucial injection appointment, instead repeatedly citing staff changes as an excuse. Given my mobility issues, this is my only accessible healthcare provider, which intensifies my vulnerability. On my best days, reaching this practice is challenging, and their repeated appointment disruptions only exacerbate my stress. My serious ongoing health conditions are not being adequately addressed, and ironically, these interactions are actively worsening my health by increasing my anxiety and complications with CFS/BPD. This environment feels unsafe and detrimental to my recovery.

Her practice of sharing her name creates an immediate connection and mutual understanding between the patient and the front desk staff, which I believe should be standard procedure for all receptionists.

It seems timely for the practice to provide some responses. The Fetcham location, in my assessment, operates with a sense of tranquility, effectiveness, and professionalism. The Leatherhead site requires further facility enhancements, though noticeable progress is evident. Notably, when I inquire with the reception staff about their progress emerging from 'special measures', they appear uninformed. Does this reflect competent leadership?
