Felt rushed and unheard during consultations

I had disappointing experiences on two separate occasions at this practice. From the outset of both consultations, I felt hurried and undervalued. The clinician frequently cut me off while I was attempting to describe my symptoms, which hindered my ability to express my concerns effectively. It appeared that completing the appointments efficiently was prioritised over genuinely engaging with what I needed to communicate. The approach lacked warmth and understanding, and I departed feeling overlooked and dissatisfied with the support I received. I recognise that healthcare professionals often face significant time constraints, but patients should feel their concerns are being treated with appropriate importance. Regrettably, this was not my experience during these visits. I am currently seeking alternative GP provision and do not intend to return to this practice.

Got a same day appointment and felt heard

I recently switched from my previous medical practice to a new surgery. When I called this morning, I was able to secure an appointment on the same day. The clinician I saw provided a notably different experience compared to what I was accustomed to. The surgery has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff demonstrated genuine attentiveness to my concerns. I am very satisfied with my decision to change practices.

Staff made my son feel comfortable and cared for

I have been a patient at this practice for many years, and I have consistently found all the staff members to be wonderfully friendly and welcoming, whether they work at reception, in clinical roles, or in support positions. The clinical staff have been exceptional, always taking extra care to ensure my child feels comfortable and at ease during visits. My partner also decided to register with this practice and has been very satisfied with the decision.
