Patient feedback reveals a deeply polarised experience at this practice, with stark contrasts between those receiving responsive digital communication and same-day appointments, and those struggling with appointment access and reception courtesy. Digital channels deliver prompt responses, with prescriptions processed within hours and consultations scheduled rapidly for urgent requests. However, the booking experience presents significant barriers: phone lines experience lengthy wait times, the website functionality is frequently unavailable, and the same-day appointment system creates accessibility challenges for working patients and those unable to call precisely at 8am. Reception staff courtesy varies considerably, with some patients reporting dismissive or unhelpful interactions that discourage engagement, whilst others praise welcoming and professional service. Clinical care receives consistent praise for thoroughness and compassion, yet administrative inefficiency undermines the overall experience, with delayed referrals, inconsistent communication about appointment procedures, and limited continuity of care affecting patient confidence.
The practice demonstrates capability in urgent response and clinical attention, evidenced by positive feedback regarding rapid diagnosis, supportive nursing care, and attentive medical professionals. Patients value same-day appointment availability when accessible and appreciate the responsiveness of digital messaging systems. Conversely, systemic issues around appointment scheduling, website reliability, and reception experience create frustration that appears to have intensified post-pandemic. Concerns centre on the restrictive call-on-the-day booking model, which disadvantages those unable to contact the practice at opening time, and the apparent unwillingness of reception staff to facilitate bookings despite availability. These operational barriers contrast sharply with the clinical quality patients experience, suggesting the practice's challenges are primarily administrative rather than clinical in nature.

Quick and Caring Referral at Moss Grove Surgery
I reached out with an urgent matter on a Friday afternoon, and within just two hours, I had a scheduled consultation. The hospital followed up on Monday, setting an appointment for Thursday, during which I received a comprehensive diagnosis. While it's common to criticize the National Health Service, my personal experience shows that when swift action is required, they truly deliver. My sincere appreciation goes to Moss Grove Surgery and RHH for their prompt and efficient care.

Frustrating morning wait at the clinic
I found myself compelled to arrive precisely at 8am, standing right at the entrance, just to secure an emergency consultation for my spouse. I'm immensely relieved this isn't our regular medical practice! Moreover, I couldn't help but notice the reception team engaged in casual conversation among themselves, appearing completely disinterested in attending to my husband while he stood at the counter. Unsurprisingly, he has now decided to terminate his long-standing relationship with this practice. The overall standard of service was absolutely unacceptable.

Waited 3 Months for a Simple Prescription
Terrible service. I required a routine prescription refill and was told I had to schedule a consultation, but the earliest available slot was three months away! This is completely unacceptable for critical medication. The delay is ridiculous and puts patients' health at risk. As a result, I've promptly transferred to a different medical practice that actually cares about patient needs.

Third Visit, Finally Seeing Skin Improvements
After battling persistent skin concerns for quite some time, I'm beginning to witness meaningful improvements thanks to Dr Patel's exceptional guidance. This marks my third consultation with him, and during each visit, I've been consistently impressed by how attentively he considers my specific problems and concerns, leaving me feeling genuinely supported and understood.

Online Consultation Went Nowhere Fast
Reached out via digital consultation for a medical concern. The response I got directed me to phone scheduling. Upon calling, I discovered prebooking isn't possible. Guess I'll just succumb to my ailment, how delightful 😊

Long Wait for a Simple ECG Test
Truly terrible experience! They insisted my wife endure a two-week wait for an ECG, which could have been performed immediately by the doctor. Summerhill surgery is far superior in comparison.

Impossible to Book an Appointment Anywhere
Unable to reach their customer service, all digital communication channels have been shut down since early morning and throughout the day! Phone wait times exceed 20 minutes, and with same-day bookings now the norm, securing an appointment seems impossible! I'm now forced to contact 111, which strikes me as completely absurd.

Quick and helpful pharmacy service
I assisted my spouse by bringing his medication prescription to the pharmacy since he had neglected to place the order himself. I informed the staff that he was nearly out of his medication and that the prescription would be ready for collection later in the day. I appreciate their help.

Sixteen Calls, Zero Appointments
I made a staggering 15 attempts to schedule an appointment from 8am onwards, with each call resulting in a message that the call box was overloaded. On my 16th try, I finally connected to hold music and waited 35 minutes before speaking to a representative. They informed me that no appointments were available, but a few slots existed online at Kinver and Kingswinford. When I asked if I could secure one of these appointments, I was curtly told I must apply online. The absurdity of speaking directly to a surgery staff member who could see available appointments but refused to book one for me was infuriating. How can a healthcare provider claim to have openings yet prevent a patient from accessing them? Their rigid, illogical process completely undermines any notion of customer service. I desperately needed medical attention today, but was blocked by what can only be described as a nonsensical administrative barrier.

Frustrating Appointment Maze at 8am Sharp
Called to inquire about test results, only to be informed I must contact them at 8am to potentially schedule an appointment, with the result likely delivered via phone anyway! The entire appointment process seems poorly designed. Is this deliberately set up to discourage people from seeking medical information?

Frustrating wait times at this clinic
Never punctual for scheduled visits and securing a consultation proves challenging if you're located in Enville near Kinver, with appointments consistently redirected to Kingswinford instead.

Family's Trusted Medical Care When We Needed It
Throughout our years with this medical practice, we've consistently enjoyed excellent service. Scheduling appointments has always been straightforward, and they've been remarkably accommodating, especially during a critical period when my father-in-law was seriously unwell. The staff readily provided multiple home visits during that challenging time. Every physician we've encountered has been thoroughly professional, compassionate, and diligent about ensuring proper follow-up care and necessary referrals.

Terrible Care Left My Son Suffering
Completely appalled by this medical practice - I'd rate it zero if possible. My son has become severely unwell due to a prescribed medication from their office, and he's unable to secure either an in-person or telephone consultation with a physician. We'll definitely be changing healthcare providers and strongly advise others to steer clear. Their patient care is non-existent, and they demonstrate zero compassion. Instead of offering a timely appointment, they'd rather force patients to endure a 12-hour wait in the accident and emergency department, which only adds unnecessary strain to the hospital system. Avoid this surgery at all costs.

Waited Hours for a Quick Consultation
Every single time I've visited, the scheduling seems completely off. They lecture about the financial impact of missed appointments for the NHS, yet show zero consideration for patients' time. Today, I was forced to leave before being seen, or I would have been late returning to my workplace.
