These folks schedule a consultation, claim it'll be around mid-morning, but nobody actually reaches out! I deliberately stayed home, avoiding potential driving interruptions, waiting for their call that never materialized.

Terrible healthcare experience with unhelpful staff

My aunt has been unable to see a doctor for three years due to the dysfunctional booking system. When she calls at 8 am, she finds herself 30th in the queue, only to be told "no appointments available, try again tomorrow". Today, she visited the practice in person and somehow secured a phone consultation (despite NHS guidelines recommending face-to-face appointments when patients request them), but the receptionist was extremely discourteous and the doctor completely ignored her concerns. Dr Summers is exceptional and the nurse practitioners are fantastic, but the rest of the staff seem to treat patients with contempt and disrespect. The booking system is utterly nonsensical - I've tried calling from both my mobile and home phone, and bizarrely, the home phone got through first, indicating there's no logical queuing process, just pure randomness. It's absolutely hopeless; they desperately need new management, fresh staff, and a complete overhaul of their systems.

The personnel here are incredibly discourteous. The front desk staff display an overwhelming sense of superiority and behave as if they can address patients however they choose. They demonstrate zero patience and a complete absence of compassionate understanding. What purpose does a professional serve in a role requiring human connection when they're fundamentally unable to show basic empathy? This establishment has developed a reputation for its unwelcoming reception staff, which genuinely discourages potential patients from seeking care. I would personally recommend avoiding this facility if at all possible. The situation is further compounded by doctors who actively opt to disregard patients and make them feel insignificant, ultimately ensuring you depart from your appointment feeling substantially more dejected than when you initially arrived.

Endless waiting for a simple heart scan

Got supposedly directed to Broomfield hospital for a heart examination, and after 8 months, absolutely no progress. I reached out to them, and they resubmitted the referral. Two more months passed, and when I contacted Broomfield, they claimed they never received it. Now I'm forced to hassle my doctors once more to get this referral processed.

Exceptional healthcare with compassionate and supportive staff

We became patients at this clinic shortly after relocating to the neighborhood, and following my delivery, we've consistently received exceptional treatment. My postpartum care was phenomenal, the front desk staff have consistently been courteous and supportive, and repeat prescriptions are processed with remarkable speed - typically the very next day. Now eight months into our experience, despite a few minor hiccups, we've been consistently impressed by the entire team's professionalism. While the NHS certainly faces significant challenges, not a single staff member here allows those pressures to compromise their quality of care.

Terrible service from rude and unprofessional receptionist

Utterly repulsive, I wouldn't even award a single star. The same receptionist that others have previously criticized is damaging Mount Chambers' reputation! Her behavior is extremely unprofessional! She made unwarranted claims about my medical condition without any medical expertise, dismissing my concerns as non-urgent despite the issue persisting since August! I'm baffled by her baseless assumptions - she's clearly unqualified to determine medical urgency! Today, she aggressively yelled at me to stop shouting, stating the nurse will decide whether to see me or not - how incredibly disrespectful! I've encountered this exact same problem with this receptionist before! I've submitted a formal complaint, and after a decade, absolutely nothing has changed. I ended the phone call in tears, feeling even more distressed about my ongoing hair loss. When I called 111 who initially referred me, she contradicted their policy. I was originally told I'd be seen in 3 days, but she provided conflicting information. Thankfully, Claire the nurse has been exceptionally supportive and helpful throughout this frustrating process.

Frustrating and inefficient healthcare experience

From the moment they opened, I battled to secure an appointment, only to find all slots vanished after endless phone attempts (I even resorted to auto-dialing and called 450 times). Upon arriving in person to resolve the issue, I was left standing idle while staff casually chatted amongst themselves for 5-10 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. Without doubt, this is hands down the most incompetent medical practice I've ever encountered.

Tracy and claire saved my medical experience

Getting a doctor's appointment can be quite challenging, HOWEVER, LET ME HIGHLIGHT THE INCREDIBLE TRACY AND CLAIRE, OUR EXCEPTIONAL NURSE PRACTITIONERS WHO PROVIDE TOP-TIER MEDICAL CARE AND ALWAYS LEAVE PATIENTS FEELING COMPLETELY REASSURED. I MUST ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THE OTHER NURSING STAFF WHO HAVE CONSISTENTLY DEMONSTRATED EXCELLENT PROFESSIONALISM WHENEVER I'VE ENCOUNTERED THEM. While it can be incredibly difficult and frustrating to reach the reception desk, I recognize they are doing their best under typical business constraints like staff shortages and holiday periods. (I try to remind myself of this when I start feeling impatient.) PLEASE MAINTAIN YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.

Terrible medical practice with zero patient care

I've recently signed up with this medical practice, and the experience has been thoroughly disappointing. The receptionist on the phone was extremely discourteous and unhelpful. During my visit to submit my personal information, I was met with hostile glances. They constantly claim to be overwhelmed, which might be understandable given current circumstances, but their operational approach is seriously flawed. They should at minimum implement a telephone booking system to consult with physicians. I would strongly caution anyone considering this surgery to steer clear of it entirely. Fundamentally, they appear indifferent, merely showing up to collect a paycheck. The service quality is absolutely abysmal.

Incompetent vaccine center fails patient completely

These healthcare providers are absolutely worthless.. completely inept and deserve a thorough investigation.. I've never had a single interaction with this facility that wasn't problematic.. the most recent issue in a long series of failures involves my covid vaccination.. I scheduled my initial shot and was assured I'd be contacted to arrange the second dose.. With just 4 weeks remaining before the 12-week window, I reached out, only to be dismissively told "we'll contact you" Now I'm 13 weeks past my first injection and called again, only to be informed there's no availability.. apparently it's acceptable because I can apparently wait up to 14 weeks for the follow-up.. I attempted to schedule through the NHS website, but because of their delay, I'm now unable to book before that 14-week mark expires.. I should have been proactively notified about the lack of availability and advised to secure my vaccine elsewhere.. This is an appalling practice, and I strongly caution anyone against dealing with this terrible establishment...

Absolute mockery of healthcare, this place rushes patients out with prescriptions without genuine concern for their well-being. I was repeatedly told I had an infection, but a year later, I discovered I have cancer. If proper diagnostic steps had been taken earlier, I might have avoided the drastic necessity of kidney removal.

Absolute lack of coordination and accountability, with no one stepping up to address my wife's prolonged suffering from persistent pain spanning two months. We've invested significantly in medical diagnostics—MRI and CT scans—and consulted various specialists including pain management and hematology experts, yet remain without clarity. Unprofessional staff make worst medical experience ever

A complete disaster of a medical practice where the staff on the phone seem utterly distracted, sounding as if they've just discovered their partner's infidelity. Their level of professionalism appears to be on par with cartoon character education. It seems they'll employ just about anyone these days. I'd strongly advise steering clear of this absolute mess and seeking out a more competent medical facility.
