This medical practice is absolutely dreadful! The wait times are unbearable. I've brought my toddler here twice, and each visit resulted in spending more than half an hour in the waiting area. Absolutely dreadful medical practice! I attempted to schedule an appointment and clearly explained my respiratory issues, mentioning my asthma and hayfever. I've already tried multiple over-the-counter medications that aren't providing sufficient relief. A pharmacist at Boots confirmed that only doctors can prescribe more potent medication. However, the receptionist became aggressive, insisting I couldn't obtain tablets through NHS and completely disregarded my concerns. She abruptly ended the call in an incredibly unprofessional manner. Their customer service is unacceptable, and I will definitely be switching to a different medical surgery immediately!!!!

Before Covid, receptionists would be seen chatting among themselves, not answering phone calls, and ignoring patients standing right in front of them. Their call response remains equally poor now. Phone queues are excruciatingly long, with wait times extending even when you're first in line. It's astonishing that receptionists attempt to provide medical diagnoses over the phone, often advising patients to simply wait, despite lacking proper medical qualifications or understanding. Covid restrictions prevent in-person visits, even when absolutely necessary. A recent personal experience highlights this: a medical issue too complex to explain via phone requires physical examination. Yet, they remain indifferent. Their solution is requesting image submissions via email to be forwarded to a doctor for a phone consultation. However, there's no guarantee these images are received, communicated, or reviewed, rendering the entire process ineffective and potentially leading to incorrect diagnoses. Phone appointments lack specific timing, forcing patients to remain available all day, with no guarantee of actually receiving a call. Securing an appointment feels like winning a lottery, with availability seemingly dependent on personal connections rather than medical need. The system appears riddled with favoritism, where knowing someone significantly improves your chances of receiving care. Recent update reveals continued unprofessionalism. After being invited to join a patient improvement forum months ago, communication has stalled. Despite repeated attempts to contact the surgery's manager—through phone messages, receptionist intermediaries, and eventually email—no meaningful follow-up has occurred.
