During our review, since not all health concerns were fully addressed, she proactively scheduled another appointment to reassess my condition after allowing prescribed medication sufficient time to take effect. She was transparent about her expected outcome but also outlined her alternative approach if the initial treatment didn't resolve the issue. The reception team was welcoming and professional, and Dr Appleton methodically mapped out a clear strategy to address my medical concerns.

I'd sooner find myself in the emergency room than interact with the front desk staff at this medical practice. Their treatment is so demoralizing that it reduces patients to emotional breakdown. While the physicians themselves seem competent, the hiring process for these receptionists is completely incomprehensible.

Worst medical practice ever terrible service
If I could, I'd award zero stars... It's deeply distressing when a family member falls ill, as it means dealing with this terrible medical practice again. Every single interaction I've had here has been utterly dreadful. I was determined to share my experience on Google after today's visit. I scheduled a phone consultation yesterday, and the receptionist explicitly confirmed it was a phone appointment. Later, I received a text directing me to Mulgrave Road Surgery. Despite my reservations, I went along since the matter was pressing. Initially, the reception was unstaffed. I wanted to confirm whether this was a phone or in-person appointment. Using their self-check-in system, unsurprisingly, it showed a face-to-face consultation! Without protest, I went upstairs and waited over 45 minutes. One patient ahead of me and three others with later scheduled times were all queuing to see the same doctor! Eventually, a GP saw me nearly an hour after arriving. The entire experience wasted two hours. I left the surgery quietly and completed everything through Boots Online Doctor Platform in under 15 minutes. Ultimately, I regret every moment spent from the initial 15 minutes booking the appointment to the brief "10-minute doctor consultation". I would absolutely never recommend this practice to anyone. I strongly advise finding an alternative place to register.

I contacted the office today to inquire about an appointment for my husband, and after enduring a lengthy wait on hold, I finally got the information I needed. However, the receptionist's demeanor was extremely abrupt and dismissive. To make matters worse, she abruptly terminated the call without any semblance of courtesy. Inconsistent service from gp and unhelpful staff
My general practitioner was excellent. However, when I contacted the reception regarding my prescription being duplicated and the pharmacy's worry about missing stomach lining protection, the GP's receptionist was extremely uncooperative and refused to relay a message to the doctor. She abruptly ended the call. Now I understand why this practice only deserves a two-star rating.

This medical facility used to be a residential property but has been transformed into a surgery with some appealing architectural features both externally and internally. There's wheelchair access at the entrance, though interior navigation involves stairs. I couldn't confirm the presence of a lift, but the reception staff might provide guidance if asked. The reception team's quality varies considerably. Some staff members are genuinely pleasant and supportive, while others are rigid and unhelpful. Selecting the right receptionist is somewhat of a lottery - you'll essentially need to rely on chance. Securing an appointment is challenging unless you're prepared to call precisely at 8:30 am. Sutton's elderly population, along with their middle-aged children, seemingly have this practice's booking line programmed into their morning routine, rapidly reserving slots. Despite the administrative challenges, the medical professionals - doctors and nurses - are excellent. Their competence is a definite strong point. The front desk staff was absolutely absurd. I phoned ahead and was instructed to come to the clinic the following day. Upon arrival, the receptionist claimed I had no scheduled appointment. From what I can tell, she appears to show preferential treatment, being notably more cordial to Caucasian patients. Their customer service is so appalling that it doesn't even merit a single rating point.
