Terrible surgery with unhelpful and unprofessional staff

I visited the doctor seeking medication, but they declined to provide it and directed me to purchase it from a pharmacy. I've experienced numerous issues with this medical practice and its toxic staff and physicians. I cannot recommend this surgery. I'm actively searching for a new practice due to ongoing problems with doctors and reception staff, particularly the unprofessional manager. They now have a shortage of doctors. The only positive aspect is the nurse, who is genuinely lovely, professional, and caring. Repeatedly, they've told me to buy medication from a pharmacy and refused to issue a prescription. Given the current cost of living and my disability, this behavior is unacceptable. After being a patient here for over 15 years, I've witnessed a significant decline in quality. I'm determined to find alternative healthcare. The last thing anyone wants when feeling unwell is a doctor who ignores their concerns and withholds necessary medication. In these challenging economic times, such treatment is absolutely unacceptable.

I've been with Newbridge Doctors for a year now, after switching from Dr Vij Whitmoreans health centre, and the improvement is remarkable. Unlike my previous practice, the receptionists here are genuinely helpful and not condescending. The phone is answered promptly, and getting an appointment is quick and hassle-free. No more of that frustrating routine of calling at 3:30, then again at 8am, only to be told they can't even see today's schedule, let alone plan for the week. The staff here are fantastic, and the doctors are exceptional.
