Over the past several years, I've encountered this medical practice multiple times, and my impressions have been predominantly favorable. Initially, I arrived with low expectations, assuming all general practitioner offices were subpar, but this place proved me wrong. They consistently demonstrate reliability by promptly answering phone calls, processing referrals as promised, and genuinely following through on their commitments. Both the administrative and clinical personnel have been exceptional. As I require periodic treatments here, every staff member has consistently made me feel comfortable and valued. I'm genuinely anxious about the possibility of relocating and being forced to find a new GP, as this practice has set such a high standard.

Compassionate dr clemment saved my day

Full downturn on the initial review sadly. Primarily because when you are genuinely feeling hopeless and seek medical advice, being told to see your GP who is "paid to care" is disheartening. Attempting to secure an urgent appointment reveals a hostile environment, especially with the reception staff, particularly Miss C Mooney (Practice Manager), who prevents patients from expressing their genuine feelings and fears. Her unprofessional approach includes abruptly ending phone calls with an dismissive "OK BYE THEN" and seemingly taking personal offense. As if her initial treatment wasn't devastating enough, she escalates the situation by sending a threatening letter suggesting the patient will be "REMOVED FROM THE PRACTICE AS PER PRACTICE POLICY", completely disregarding the patient's emotional state. The entire interaction focuses solely on "POLICIES and PROCEDURES" with absolutely no compassion, empathy, or human consideration. #1 My second visit here, and I'm fortunate to see Dr. Clemment again. He is truly exceptional and represents the best of NHS care. I'm grateful to find a GP who genuinely cares about patients as individuals, not just as a monthly paycheck. His approach restores my faith in healthcare professionals. The reception staff are equally pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended. #2 Too unwell to provide comprehensive details due to the practice's rigid policies and shockingly unprofessional staff, especially the management. The only commendable staff member is Courtney, who stands out amid the robotic and heartless colleagues. Despite my desperate plea for basic information, I was verbally abused and summarily dismissed. My request was simple: the name of an initial contact. The reception staff's attitude was offensive, but the manager's behavior was absolutely deplorable. Their treatment has only confirmed my existing struggles. This review serves as a warning to anyone expecting fair, individual, and respectful treatment from this practice's front-line staff. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Unless you want your mental health further deteriorated.

Unhelpful booking during christmas break

This medical practice desperately needs to overhaul their scheduling approach - it's completely unacceptable. Given that most patients are students, I'm deeply concerned about these vulnerable young people being left at significant risk. The front desk staff demonstrate zero compassion - despite my desperate pleas for an urgent consultation, they remained completely inflexible. I was seeking an immediate appointment due to my critical need for blood tests, as I'm experiencing extreme weakness and suspect I'm suffering from severe anaemia once more. Their proposed appointment was four days later - at a time when most students have already departed for Christmas break - when I required same-day attention. I strongly advise against registering with this practice - it's an absolute exercise in frustration. Seek out an alternative healthcare provider that actually demonstrates basic patient care, as this experience is utterly deplorable. Zero stars, without question!!

Worst practice with googling doctors

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PRACTICE!! Frankly, I'm baffled by the credentials of these physicians, as they represent the most incompetent medical professionals I've ever encountered. Not once have their recommendations actually improved my health, and it's obvious they couldn't care less. They simply resort to Google searches. Their medical repertoire seems limited to prescribing codeine and paracetamol. Completely worthless personnel. UPDATE: I've received a notification from the clinic about potential removal due to this review. Miss Mooney, you're technically correct that every staff member has formal qualifications, but that's their sole merit. If your team is supposedly so qualified, why are you languishing with a pathetic 2.1-star rating? What an absolute embarrassment. Instead of ejecting patients, perhaps focus on improving your staff's attitude and training them not to display dismissive eye-rolling when patients seek help #professionalincompetence

She sighs dramatically when requested to check alternative appointment dates and consistently interrupts patients. This environment feels particularly challenging for individuals struggling with anxiety or mental health issues. Despite accumulating negative feedback and ongoing complaints, the practice maintains an inflexible booking policy, claiming they're perpetually overwhelmed. Appointments are essentially only available same-day, and even those vanish rapidly, leaving patients endlessly dialing through constant busy signals. The scheduling process resembles a chaotic, competitive scramble. The medical professionals themselves are actually quite competent, assuming one can successfully secure an appointment. Having been a patient here since 2007, I've witnessed a steady and disappointing decline in their overall service quality.
