Frustrating registration nightmare with unhelpful staff

Utterly appalling service, sent registration documents to the GP practice approximately seven and a half months back. When seeking medical care, we were informed that we were not registered and therefore ineligible for an appointment. Staff dismissively suggested that the paperwork was likely mishandled, implying we had not submitted the forms correctly. Zero help or support was provided.

A wonderful experience today

I have seen several doctors at this practice and none have listened nor heard me the way that the GP I saw today has. Dr Naz took time to listen to my concerns, to talk through things with me, to examine my issues rather than just leaping straight to prescribing something for the symptoms. She made me feel heard and she explained everything wonderfully. A doctor I would go out of my way to make sure I could see again.

Seamless healthcare from triage to treatment today

I utilized the medical consultation request form recently I completed the document at 07:59 and submitted it exactly at 08:00 in the morning A callback was received before 11:00 am. I consulted with a physician at 1:30 pm. My prescribed medication was ready at my preferred pharmacy by 2:00 pm By 2:30, I was undergoing blood work at the medical facility By 5:00 pm, I had my X-ray completed Blood test results were available on the NHS mobile application by 11:30 pm Truly exceptional service and patient care, and while I understand the system can be debated, I can personally confirm its effectiveness 👏👏

Serious medical errors could have harmed my daughter

I'm going to have to reach out to this medical practice. My daughter's hospital discharge summary listed a medication she has never been prescribed as a long-term treatment. Thankfully, to the best of our knowledge, she was not administered this medication during her hospital stay. Her hospital consultant is investigating the matter. They erroneously recorded that she is on two heart medications. She is not and has never been on these drugs. If she had been given these during her hospital stay, they could have potentially caused heart damage. Upon reviewing her GP records, these medications were noted as regular prescriptions, supposedly first prescribed in the year 1900. If medical staff only check prescribed medications upon hospital admission without verifying the dates, she could be inadvertently given these drugs. They have also added notes to referrals following A and E visits, suggesting no further action is required. You should be able to trust that they won't put you at risk like this, without having to act as a detective every time you interact with them.

My visit to Newgate Medical Centre on 30th November was exceptional. The receptionist demonstrated remarkable professionalism and kindness. She assisted me with completing my triage form and maintained a pleasant demeanor throughout our interaction. Shortly after, I was promptly scheduled for an appointment within a 90-minute window. My consultation with Nicola Happ-Smith proved to be the most outstanding medical encounter I've experienced in years. She attentively listened to my concerns and provided timely guidance. Her examination was comprehensive, and I believe her prescription and accompanying advice were perfectly tailored to my needs. Unlike previous experiences, I was entirely pleased with every aspect of my medical care. The entire process met and exceeded my expectations. My sincere gratitude.

Dangerous medical practice endangering patient health

Absolutely terrible healthcare facility. A patient suffering from COPD was discharged without critical emergency medication, resulting in hospitalization. Attempts to schedule a follow-up appointment are futile due to uncooperative reception staff blocking access. It's utterly nonsensical that they're expanding their premises when they can't even provide basic patient care and access to a general practitioner.

The employees are fantastic and genuinely strive to provide excellent service. However, scheduling an appointment is an absolute nightmare. In-person booking is impossible, and phone attempts are equally frustrating - after enduring a lengthy wait, you're essentially just redirected to their online system. I want to be clear that this criticism isn't directed at the staff, but rather the deeply flawed appointment scheduling process.
