Rude staff ignored my urgent medical request

I was thoroughly appalled by the unprofessional conduct of the front desk personnel. When I requested to consult with a physician regarding a hospital document, they claimed they would add me to the doctor's callback queue. However, I unexpectedly received a text from a nurse addressing something completely unrelated to my original inquiry about my medication, which was not at all what I had called to discuss.

Dr Laycock and Dr Gilroy are truly exceptional healthcare professionals. The medical practice consistently demonstrates remarkable efficiency when it comes to processing repeat prescription requests. Kind doctors doing their best

Overall, I have no significant criticisms. The reception team has consistently demonstrated professionalism in our interactions. Whenever I've requested a callback, they've always been responsive. While the doctors are clearly under considerable strain, they sincerely attempt to address my medical concerns. Considering the current healthcare landscape, this practice is doing an admirable job. It's evident they're experiencing immense pressure, and I'm certain they endure unwarranted anger and frustration from patients. I personally feel appreciative of their efforts and understand the challenges they face 🙏

Receptionist was beyond unprofessional today

The receptionist is absolutely terrible. Every single time I contact the office, she's incredibly discourteous, and today she went as far as suggesting I bypass medical consultation entirely, claiming a chemist would handle my needs just as well!!!! I'm completely baffled that she continues to be employed in this role!!!

The front desk staff is completely incompetent. She consistently provides incorrect information, repeatedly claiming the doctor won't accommodate certain requests. However, when the physician calls, her tune changes entirely. This receptionist should be fired immediately.

Missed my surgery slot by minutes

I underwent surgery today, and despite the stated closing time of 6 PM, all staff had already departed by 5:55. My doctor sent me a text at 5:52, and although I arrived at 5:55, the facility was closed. Now, with the weekend approaching, I'll have to wait until Monday. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided.

The medical professionals at this practice are truly top-notch, potentially the best I've ever encountered... however, actually connecting with them proves to be a significant challenge. Repeatedly, the front desk personnel have declined to include me in callback lists, seemingly believing they possess medical expertise that supersedes my concerns. They frequently redirect patients, suggesting they speak with a therapist about medication issues rather than consulting directly with a physician, and they appear to consider this approach appropriate. Such behavior is remarkably unprofessional and serves only to amplify the already uncomfortable and perplexing experience of being unwell.

Doctors who can't be bothered to help

The front desk personnel occasionally display an unwarranted hostile demeanor, and the new requirement to call before 10 am to consult a physician is extremely bothersome. The doctors come across as dismissive and unprofessional, and I would hesitate to trust them with even a medical training mannequin, much less actual patients. The practice manager's approach is equally disappointing. As a result, I am actively seeking alternative healthcare providers.
