Long wait then turned away without help

Waited an extended period with a hand injury only to be informed that imaging services were not available at this location and advised to contact my GP the following day. I found it frustrating that I was directed elsewhere when I felt the facility should have been equipped to handle this type of assessment. The experience left me feeling passed between services without a clear resolution, and I am unlikely to return to this centre in future.
