Quick and friendly medical service

I phoned the medical office this morning, and my call was picked up after approximately 4 minutes. The front desk staff member was incredibly supportive and accommodating. I managed to secure an appointment with a nurse practitioner shortly after my initial contact, within just a couple of hours. I'm thoroughly pleased with the level of service and attention I experienced during my visit today.

Neglected care leaves mother suffering without hope

The medical facility has consistently withheld any prescribed medication for my mother throughout this year. Her health is deteriorating, causing significant mental and emotional strain, and the clinic remains adamant about not providing treatment until they receive conclusive test results (which in their previous examination appeared inconclusive). The current healthcare system seems to be abandoning my mother, leaving her to suffer without adequate medical intervention.

I concur with several prior reviewers and believe this healthcare provider is genuinely striving to deliver quality service. While it's mandatory to initially consult a health nurse, my personal encounter has been remarkably positive. I presented with a sensitive feminine health issue and was immediately attended to by a nurse who candidly expressed concern about potentially overlooking something, subsequently referring me to Peterborough Hospital. Within a fortnight, I met with Dr. Abuzoda, who conducted an exceptionally comprehensive examination, prescribed appropriate treatment, and provided clear guidance. We should be understanding, considering the immense challenges they're facing, and hope for a return to normalcy in the near future. I also contacted 111 and experienced a delayed callback in the evening, but recognize they are overwhelmed and understand the need for patience during these demanding times.

Frustrating journey through impossible healthcare appointment system

I am experiencing extreme exasperation while attempting to secure medical guidance. I have reluctantly come to terms with the current reality where securing direct communication with a general practitioner has become practically unattainable. The healthcare system now seemingly mandates an initial telephone consultation with a nurse before accessing any medical advice. After accepting this protocol, I attempted to book an appointment online on Monday morning, only to find that while two time slots were presented, no actual appointments were available. Consequently, I resorted to telephone booking, repeatedly calling on Monday without success due to unacceptably long waiting times. Tuesday followed the same pattern until approximately 17:15, when I finally reached a receptionist, who informed me that no appointments existed and instructed me to call again at 08:00 the next morning!!! North Brink, this situation is completely unacceptable. Are we truly operating at a standard equivalent to a developing nation's healthcare system? The NHS actively encourages patients not to neglect non-Covid health concerns, yet simultaneously creates insurmountable barriers to accessing medical consultation.

Frustrating communication breakdown with medical practice

I contacted the medical practice to arrange a prescription renewal for an extended period. They sent confirmation emails indicating everything was in order. However, when I arrived at the pharmacy, they claimed no prescription was on file for several months. I managed to collect my other medications, and I'm relieved I didn't make the trip solely for this prescription. The pharmacy staff are supportive, but currently, the medical surgery's administrative processes are completely ineffective.

Efficient but impersonal medical service experience

Haven't visited the medical center recently except to collect my prescriptions. The clinic isn't particularly crowded and doesn't schedule many appointments unless you're experiencing health issues. Patients can now get COVID vaccinations directly at the practice when consulting with a doctor or nurse practitioner.

Frustrating medical practice with no communication

I'm experiencing absolute frustration with this medical practice. After registering recently, I've been desperately waiting for an appointment to investigate potential Parkinson's, but each time I contact them, I'm told I must first speak with a nurse. The uncertainty and anxiety are overwhelming. They scheduled a phone consultation for Saturday, December 5th between 11:30 and 11:45, yet it's now Sunday, December 6th at 8am, and I've heard nothing. I'm astounded by their complete lack of communication. If the practice manager believes they're performing adequately, I'd love to understand how staff who can't even manage a simple phone call could possibly handle medical equipment. I've already filed a complaint with the NHS complaints department and hope the government will review whether this practice deserves continued financial support. It's no wonder our health service is struggling financially if other practices operate with such disregard for patient care. Utterly disappointing and unacceptable.

I consistently find this medical practice to be attentive and quick to address my needs. My first point of contact is always requesting a consultation with the practice nurse. Whenever I require an appointment, I receive one without delay, and should my condition necessitate a doctor's assessment, a GP is invariably accessible. Throughout the challenging period of the Covid pandemic, the administrative and reception team have performed exceptionally well in maintaining operations and ensuring patients receive appropriate care. My sincere appreciation goes out to them.

Undoubtedly the most disappointing medical practice I've encountered, I seriously doubt they have any genuine concern for their patients. It seems like they might have replaced their actual physicians with life-sized mannequins propped up in the consulting rooms!

Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff nightmare

I desperately want to give zero stars for this absolutely terrible establishment. They NEVER answer calls during business hours and are completely ineffective at resolving anything promptly. I constantly have to contact 111 due to the endless problems they create with my prescription. The staff are incredibly unprofessional and rude - especially the receptionist who blatantly refuses to do her job and won't even pick up the phone at 2:30 PM when they're open until 6. (I'm literally desperate here!) The only saving grace is the incredible NHS 111 staff who are consistently helpful and courteous, unlike the incompetent individuals working at this location.

These medical professionals are absolutely the most incompetent I've ever encountered.
