This practice has been very disappointing. There are rarely any available appointments, so I attempted to use the online booking system instead, but this proved to be equally ineffective as I did not receive a callback.

Impossible to get an appointment here

This practice has significantly declined in quality. Regardless of when you attempt to book, appointment availability is extremely limited, which is very disappointing. The situation became so difficult that I felt compelled to seek care elsewhere. The surgery was once considered excellent, but that standard no longer appears to be maintained.

I have found it extremely difficult to secure an appointment at this practice. Over the past couple of weeks, I have made repeated attempts to get through by phone, but the line is consistently busy. On the rare occasions when I have managed to reach someone, there have been no available slots. Additionally, an appointment I had booked was cancelled without explanation, and I was advised to rebook. However, given the ongoing difficulties in reaching the practice, this has proven to be very challenging. The phone service has been deeply frustrating. 👎👎👎

Reception helped bridge communication gap effectively

Visited the practice as a final attempt to get help after having recently undergone a procedure and being unable to establish any contact with the surgical team, which left me feeling quite frustrated. I spoke with reception staff, explained my circumstances, and asked whether someone might be available to address some concerns I had regarding my recovery. I received calls from both a clinician and a receptionist who, following several attempts to reach the surgical team, managed to arrange an emergency appointment that proved to be extremely beneficial. I am deeply grateful to both the clinician and receptionist for their patience, understanding, and professional approach. The level of comprehensive support provided exceeded my expectations and was much appreciated.

Reception staff ignored urgent referral notes

I am currently at home in bed where I have been for six days feeling very unwell. After spending approximately 90 minutes speaking with staff at 111, they referred me to my GP practice as a matter of urgency to have my antibiotics reviewed, as my breathing had not improved. When I called the practice, I was greeted by reception staff whose approach seemed dismissive and unhelpful, without appearing to read or acknowledge the urgency that had been documented in my notes. I am concerned that due to this interaction, my condition may not receive the prompt attention it requires, and I worry this could result in my health deteriorating further. I found this experience to be very disappointing.

Reception staff made booking calls difficult and dismissive

This practice used to maintain good standards, but the quality appears to have declined following the recent renovation work. The reception team can come across as unwelcoming, particularly one member of staff who I found especially unhelpful. When I contacted the practice a couple of weeks ago to request an appointment for my child who was unwell, the receptionist interrupted before I could fully explain the situation and initially stated no appointments were available. Only after I persisted did they offer a late slot. More recently, my partner attempted to book an appointment and experienced significant difficulties getting through to the practice. After a lengthy hold time, the call was disconnected. When he rang back, he was informed there were no available appointments and felt the staff member was dismissive. He had to make multiple attempts to reach someone at the practice. Overall, my experience of this practice has become quite disappointing.

The reception team could benefit from improved customer service training, as I found the approach when calling to book an appointment this week to be unwelcoming, with the exception of one particularly helpful staff member. This practice was once a more welcoming place, but the experience has noticeably changed.

Impossible to get appointments at this practice

I would not recommend this practice. Appointment availability appears to be extremely limited. The clinical staff came across as dismissive and unhelpful during my visit. I felt unheard and that my concerns were not being properly addressed. Obtaining my medication seemed to require persistent follow-up and complaints before it was finally processed. Overall, my experience was frustrating and unsatisfactory, and I did not feel the visit was worthwhile.
