Terrible service and impossible appointments at clinic

A few of the doctors at this practice are excellent. However, the appointment process has dramatically deteriorated since the Covid lockdown. Securing a consultation is now virtually impossible. The receptionists have positioned themselves as gatekeepers and self-proclaimed medical experts. Their performance is inconsistent, and encountering a difficult staff member like Janet means receiving zero assistance. They display complete lack of empathy. It's unfortunate that the competent staff members are so rare. Attempting to speak with the practice manager is met with outright refusal. The medications manager seems perpetually absent. The stress of trying to book an appointment simply isn't worth the effort. Moreover, annual blood tests, which were previously considered crucial for ongoing medication management before Covid, have now completely disappeared. The practice manager urgently needs to address the superiority complex prevalent among the reception staff.

Terrible medical practice with unhelpful and rude staff

I've encountered consistently discourteous and abrupt staff when calling this medical practice. My complex health issues require extended consultation time, yet I'm perpetually unable to secure appropriate appointments. The online booking system is non-functional, and they systematically obstruct my attempts to receive proper medical attention. They initially claimed pre-booking appointments was impossible, but when I mentioned my doctor's contrary instructions, suddenly they miraculously found a way to schedule me. Every interaction feels frustratingly negative and unprofessional. While I recognize they might be experiencing workplace stress, it's absolutely unacceptable to subject patients to such treatment.

Terrible service and endless waiting for test results

This medical facility is an absolute mockery. They dispatch you for blood work and then make you wait a full month to review the results, claiming your case isn't critical. If it's truly not urgent, why am I being summoned monthly for these tests? Moreover, they pledge to contact you the following day about the results, yet you're left hanging, waiting endlessly. When you finally call to inquire about the promised communication, their response is that you were never even scheduled. "BEST PRACTICES EVER" - said no one ever with a straight face.

Terrible service and unhelpful medical practice

Our experience with the surgery during our temporary stay in Chester was nothing short of disorganized chaos. After diligently completing and submitting all required paperwork, we were met with absolute radio silence. It wasn't until our previous general practitioner denied a prescription refill that we discovered our registration had somehow occurred. Now settled with a different GP practice, we've been instructed to secure prescription confirmation from Northgate - a task that seems futile given their consistent pattern of completely disregarding our repeated communication attempts.

Nightmare receptionist ruins healthcare experience

An elderly blonde woman at the front desk - what on earth?! She's got a seriously problematic attitude. Trying to get information from her was like extracting teeth. She's hands-down the most uncooperative receptionist I've ever encountered. She wouldn't offer a single piece of guidance unless I explicitly asked for it. Fortunately, her colleague overheard and stepped in to assist me. I'm seriously contemplating switching my GP because booking appointments is already an absolute nightmare. My 40+ phone calls this morning are proof of that.

Terrible service left me without needed medication

I was forced to endure four days without my essential depression medication due to the administration's complete failure to effectively communicate system issues with me. The process of getting my prescription to the pharmacy below took an excruciatingly long six days. Even then, I had to personally inquire at the reception desk and was handed a prescription slip that I had to deliver to the pharmacy myself. The reception staff's incompetence is absolutely laughable.
