Compassionate care for my relative with memory loss

There arent many practices like Northgate, who are so utterly brilliant. You're lucky if you are registered here. But I would like to hightlight what I saw today - the care that Dr Cusens gave to my father in law who lives with memory loss. We had a medical consultation today, arranged with urgency and I cant tell you how moved with respect and admiration I was for the way the Doctor looked after my relative. Not only was he most thorough in his examination, but I was struck by the genuine compassion showed by such a busy Doctor and the genuine desire to deliver care. And the daftest thing - Dr Cusens made a point of drawing up this chair to my father and his zimmer frame and treating him like an old friend in words he could understand. I cant thank you enough . The whole team is brillaint , by the way, and I know it comes from the top

Unhelpful morning call ruined my day

I completed the digital booking form with all necessary information. Within sixty minutes, I received a callback and was promptly offered an immediate slot by an exceptionally accommodating staff member. I clarified that I was working that particular day. The receptionist remained incredibly supportive and assured me that my online explanation would facilitate a same-day appointment when I became available. This morning at 8:00 AM, when I was free, I called and was connected to a different receptionist. I recounted the previous discussion and requested a same-day appointment. Disappointingly, I was informed that this wasn't their standard procedure and was made to feel like an inconvenience and somewhat foolish. This experience highlights a clear need for uniform and consistent communication protocols within the organization.

Blood pressure machine for gymnasts

The staff greeted me warmly and were ready to help. I came to use the self-service blood pressure monitor. This is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. The usage instructions are mounted on the wall behind the chair where you're meant to sit. Unless you have eyes in the back of your head like a teacher, these instructions are essentially useless. Regarding the machine itself. It was positioned on a table, but at an uncomfortably high height for comfortably inserting one's arm while seated. You're forced to lean at an awkward angle, with a sharp table corner pressing uncomfortably into your abdomen. While your right arm is wedged inside the device, you must then stretch across with your left hand to hit the "start" button, which is inconveniently placed on the far right of the machine. Should you need the emergency stop, it's helpfully concealed under your right armpit. After struggling through the machine's operation and entering a state of mild panic, your blood pressure reading will predictably spike 20 points above your normal level. Truly recommended only for those with yoga master flexibility and contortionist skills.

Throughout my two decades of residence in different UK urban centers, I can confidently state that this medical practice stands head and shoulders above all others I've encountered. Dr Cann exemplifies medical excellence, demonstrating profound expertise, genuine compassion, and an exceptional approach to patient care that has been immensely supportive during my healthcare journey. My sincere appreciation goes out to the entire team - continue delivering such outstanding service.

Throughout my experiences, I've consistently been impressed by the exceptional quality of all personnel - from the front desk team to the pharmacy staff, physicians, and nursing professionals.

Terrible care and unhelpful staff

Incompetent medical professionals who displayed a complete lack of care. They dismissed the majority of my reported symptoms and conducted only the most superficial examinations, which proved utterly useless in identifying my medical issue. My health continues to deteriorate rapidly... And I concur with previous feedback that one of their administrative staff members demonstrates an extremely discourteous and unprofessional demeanor.

Receptionist misdiagnosed my serious health issue

Extremely subpar medical service where physicians are absent, and receptionists diagnose patients instead. The front desk staff presume medical expertise, despite giving advice that previously landed me in a hospital stay for three days. Dr. Jones appears to be deliberately avoiding patient interactions by remaining sequestered in the office rather than directly engaging with those seeking medical care.
