Receptionists were always courteous and efficient

Outstanding Practice. The finest practice we have ever experienced. We relocated to the area 9 years ago and have received nothing but exceptional care from everyone at the surgery. The whole team, including clinical staff, nursing staff, management and reception, have consistently demonstrated courtesy, helpfulness and efficiency. Even during the pandemic restrictions, we had a visitor staying with us who required assistance, and the practice made time to support them with their complex requirements. We are very grateful for the service provided.

Quick appointment and scan results came back fast

Excellent service. Called to arrange an appointment at mid-morning and was seen in the afternoon. Referred for a routine scan at a local hospital. The scan took place approximately ten days later. Results were communicated back to me through the practice within a few days. Five star service delivered in a cheerful, courteous and professional manner. The NHS is functioning well from my perspective.

Practice has declined significantly since management change

Since the earlier period under previous practitioners, who were excellent, the practice has undergone changes that I feel have resulted in a significant decline in quality. My recent experience has been deeply unsatisfactory and appears to have been influenced by management decisions. I have sympathy for the reception and administrative staff who have generally been supportive, but I find myself without necessary medication and am actively seeking alternative care elsewhere. I would rate this lower if possible.

Spoke to a member of the reception team today who went above and beyond to assist with arranging an urgent appointment - this enabled us to move forward with our planned treatment at the end of the month. Reception staff made us feel welcome and valued

We required medical attention for our child during a holiday visit to the area. The reception team were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the clinician provided excellent care for our child. Despite their heavy workload that day, they were able to fit us in. We were very satisfied with the service received. We appreciate it greatly. We do wish our regular practice at home could provide a similar standard of care.

The system proved straightforward to navigate and I received a response within minutes of submitting my request. The clinician I spoke with was thorough and attentive, dedicating considerably more time than anticipated to explore my concerns comprehensively and establishing a structured follow-up plan including necessary investigations. The premises themselves are welcoming, with bright, airy spaces and adequate seating throughout. I would readily recommend this practice.

Front desk staff were unhelpful and dismissive

Very disappointed with the service received. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. After waiting in the lounge for an extended period, I was informed that no clinicians were available. I felt this was unacceptable, particularly as I observed what appeared to be clinical staff in the car park during this time.
