Felt unheard and dismissed during appointment

I had a concerning experience with my care and felt that the explanations provided did not align with what I observed. I was disappointed with the standard of care I received and the subsequent communication about it.

Reception staff dismissive and argumentative about procedures

I share the same concerns raised in the previous review. The reception team appeared to lack the necessary skills and demonstrated an unhelpful attitude, seemingly unaware that they are there to provide customer service. After making repeated efforts to arrange a consultation with a clinician regarding my prescriptions, I was redirected to the pharmacy department. My scheduled appointment was cancelled by practice staff to facilitate this process, which resulted in me running out of medication that should not have been interrupted. When I questioned this, a member of reception staff disputed my account and claimed to be unfamiliar with the practice's procedures. Additionally, when I requested continuity of care with the same clinician, the system allocated different practitioners and appointment times regardless of what had been previously arranged. The overall experience was disappointing.

Having previously worked within GP settings, I have insight into operations from both a patient and staff perspective. I found the staff and service to be excellent. They demonstrate promptness, courtesy and attentiveness in their approach, including through their online consultation options. The practice has delivered a positive experience.

Excellent medical practice experience! I recently relocated to the area and visited this surgery for the first time today. I was in urgent need of assistance and received a call from a clinician within a couple of hours of contacting reception. The clinician was genuinely attentive and demonstrated genuine concern for my health, promptly arranging appropriate support and medication.

The facility itself is an exceptionally pleasant environment, featuring bright, spacious surroundings with abundant seating and comfortable circulation space. The specialist practitioners have been among the most impressive I have encountered anywhere. One practitioner in particular has supported me through some of my most challenging periods and has made a significant difference to several long-standing health concerns that I previously believed were unresolvable. All team members consistently prioritise patient care despite their demanding workload. They demonstrate genuine commitment to going above and beyond to ensure every patient receives thorough attention and support. The pharmacy and front desk personnel are equally excellent. They are consistently warm, genuinely helpful, and like their colleagues, they take time to build relationships with patients and create a welcoming, valued atmosphere. The entire team at this practice provides exceptional care and support. Patients are treated as individuals rather than mere appointments, and this practice truly distinguishes itself as an exemplary model that others should aspire to emulate. This represents the standard that healthcare should consistently achieve.

Seen early and put at ease

Fantastic service here although I don't visit very often, when I have needed assistance this practice has been excellent. The clinician I saw has a lovely manner and puts you at ease. I visited today and was seen pretty much on time, then needed to see the nursing staff and my appointment was early. Thank you for your help today, much appreciated.
