Terrible healthcare experience with unhelpful surgery staff
I've been a patient at this Surgery for a decade and have encountered several disappointing experiences. The most recent incident left me thoroughly distressed. I was scheduled for a telephone consultation with a window between 10 and 12, which essentially meant sacrificing two entire hours of my day, mindlessly waiting by my phone for a potential call. Coincidentally, I had another telephone appointment that same day with the Endoscopy department at Yeovil Hospital regarding my upcoming colonoscopy. Unfortunately, the GP from the Surgery called precisely during my hospital appointment, causing me to miss a crucial call about my son's abnormal liver function results. Immediately after realizing the missed call, I contacted the Surgery, explained the situation, and desperately requested to speak with a doctor. The receptionist responded with remarkable coldness, declaring that the doctor would not be available and the next appointment was in 12 days. Twelve days of unbearable anxiety and worry. Their apparent lack of compassion and unwillingness to spare even five minutes to discuss these critical blood results is deeply disheartening. Truly sad.

Disappointing decline of once great medical practice
I've been a patient at this medical practice for most of my life, and while it used to be exceptional, the quality has significantly declined in recent years. Booking an appointment is now a frustrating ordeal through ask my gp, which operates only from 7 to 10, and even then, you might wait indefinitely for a response. I had a blood test in November and grew increasingly impatient when I hadn't received results by late January. Upon calling, they casually mentioned the results had been available since November's end, yet they never bothered to notify me. Two months of waiting, and their communication is always vague, telling patients to call back within specific time frames. The doctors seem more focused on rushing patients through consultations, and one receptionist could seriously benefit from customer service training. Unless this is your only convenient option, I'd recommend finding another GP. It's truly disappointing to see such a once-great practice deteriorate like this.

STEER CLEAR of this medical practice! During my 8-year registration with Dr. Lashbrooke as my primary care physician, I only encountered him once, and that was when he denied me medication. When I requested a blood test due to elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels, he interrogated me extensively before ultimately referring me to a private clinic. I'm completely baffled about the purpose of my monthly healthcare contributions. The reception staff is incredibly discourteous. After enduring eight years at this practice, I was compelled to switch both my GP and medical surgery. I absolutely cannot recommend this facility to anyone!
