Over my three-decade association with the surgery, I've typically been patient with minor frustrations. However, the reception staff's consistently unhelpful attitude finally pushed me to file my first formal complaint. Kauser, in contrast, was incredibly responsive and addressed my concerns effectively without allowing the situation to escalate further. She has been proactively supportive since our initial interaction. When subsequent issues arose with the reception staff, Kauser again stepped in and resolved matters impressively. Her professionalism and commitment to patient care are remarkable, and the surgery would undoubtedly benefit from having more employees with her exceptional approach to customer service.

I visited the clinic seeking guidance on dental concerns related to my chemotherapy treatment and advice on managing side effects. Dr. Shiraz Butt was extremely unprofessional, immediately dismissing my concerns and stating he was not the appropriate healthcare provider to address my needs. Unexpectedly, he launched into an unsolicited rant about dental expenses, even though I had not broached the topic of payment. Throughout the entire appointment, he was aggressive and hostile, spending most of the time yelling and creating conflict rather than providing any meaningful medical assistance or support.

I deeply sympathize with anyone considering switching to Oakwood surgery, as it's undoubtedly the most subpar medical practice in Birmingham. Dr Qazi demonstrates an appalling level of unprofessionalism, berating me as an "idiot" when I attempted to follow up on a referral, displaying extreme rudeness and contempt. His understanding of neurodiversity is practically non-existent, and his grasp of female health is equally abysmal - he dismissively attributes everything to PCOS. Even more concerning, he has prescribed antibiotics despite my known allergies. The reception staff are equally terrible - monumentally lazy and discourteous, repeatedly booking me with physician's associates while falsely presenting them as doctors. These PAs deliberately conceal their actual roles, effectively impersonating medical professionals - something I only discovered after independently researching their website. In another infuriating incident, I endured a 45-minute wait while Nurse Kayani was eating in the kitchen, which I witnessed firsthand while reception staff searched for her. Upon filing a complaint, absolutely no action was taken.

The physicians appear completely incompetent, routinely redirecting patients to the emergency department instead of providing actual care. What's the purpose of registering with a practice that demonstrates such profound uselessness? The reception staff are equally abysmal, displaying zero compassion and acting with total indifference towards patients' needs. Their lack of responsiveness is so extreme, it's like conversing with an unfeeling object. If possible, I would have awarded zero stars to highlight how utterly terrible this healthcare facility is!

Interpersonal communication skills for client interactions should be honed through training prior to recruitment or onboarding. For a long-standing patient seeking medical attention for a legitimate health concern, Malika at reception absolutely struck the wrong chord this morning. An insufferable personality that would have made for an unbearable phone exchange if prolonged. My inner dialogue compelled me to terminate the telephone conversation abruptly.
