The doctors, Dr Al Qazi and Dr Vivani, are excellent, but the staff's behavior is unacceptable. They are incredibly rude, preventing patients from speaking and becoming defensive when questions are asked. I've attempted to contact management multiple times, but they consistently respond with vague promises about getting back to me, which is highly unprofessional. Recently, I encountered a serious issue when trying to get an appointment for my 9-month-old baby. The staff is re-registering us at the surgery, but after more than a week, they haven't confirmed our registration status. Their refusal to let me see a GP or access our medical history is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, their phone service is abysmal - you wait on hold for an extended period, only to have the call abruptly disconnected. This entire experience has been utterly disgraceful and frustrating.

While Nurse Saima and Dr Al Kazi are competent and caring professionals, I still experience significant anxiety about making appointments. The practice's management is poor, with seemingly little patient consideration - today I waited 2.5 hours for an injection and ultimately had to reschedule. Their patient processing needs serious improvement, and they should prioritize appointments with long-term doctors instead of constantly rotating locums. Follow-up is abysmal; blood test results are never communicated proactively, forcing patients to chase repeatedly. Staff competence varies dramatically depending on who you encounter. Most medical practices have frustrating elements, but this surgery is exceptionally slow and inefficient in addressing patient needs. That said, some truly exceptional doctors like Dr Wale, Dr Khan, and Dr Miriam demonstrate the potential quality of care. If only the practice could retain these skilled professionals as permanent staff rather than relying on agency workers.

This doctor's surgery represents one of the most poorly managed medical practices I've ever experienced. The entire process is marred by unacceptably long phone wait times, unhelpful receptionists who seem intent on rushing through calls, and significant delays. Booking an appointment with a doctor has become nearly impossible, and I've been unable to secure a consultation for an extended period. The administrative system appears completely disorganized, with no clear accountability mechanisms in place. Promised call-backs and same-day appointment confirmations consistently prove to be empty assurances, and the online booking platform remains perpetually unreliable. When attempting to address these concerns, staff members dismissively claim that other patients have not encountered similar difficulties. During a recent attempt to utilize their online appointment service, I was prevented from seeing a doctor despite the critical nature of my medical condition. Instead, I was redirected to a practice nurse/doctor who erroneously prescribed medication inappropriate for my illness. The complete lack of professional care and concern in handling my case was profoundly disappointing. The surgery's physical space frequently appears deserted during in-person visits, yet obtaining an appointment remains an incredibly frustrating experience. Telephone communication proves equally futile—I recently spent over an hour on hold, ultimately abandoning my attempt to speak with someone out of sheer exasperation. Furthermore, after completing a blood test, I received no communication from the surgery regarding my results. Surprisingly, it was a local pharmacy that contacted me to highlight my elevated cholesterol levels and recommend medication. No medical professional from the surgery reviewed my test results or provided any guidance. My subsequent attempts to contact the practice about this matter were unsuccessful, with repeated promises of a doctor's callback remaining unfulfilled. This surgery appears to be in direct contravention of the Care Standards Act 2000, which explicitly requires healthcare providers to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. The act mandates that healthcare services be managed to promote patient well-being and dignity—standards this practice has comprehensively failed to meet. Moreover, the NHS Constitution guarantees patients the legal right to timely healthcare access, including receiving diagnostic test results and appropriate follow-up care. The entire system is fundamentally chaotic, incompetently managed, and fundamentally unfit for purpose. Consequently, I cannot in good conscience recommend this surgery. Its blatant disregard for care standards, communication failures, and systematic neglect of basic legal requirements make it a healthcare provider to be absolutely avoided. I will be actively seeking registration with an alternative practice, as this current surgery falls dramatically short of the legally mandated care standards.

AVOID; One of the most poorly run medical practices I have ever encountered, with endless phone wait times and receptionists displaying a lack of professionalism and an unwarranted sense of importance, particularly the Indian woman with dyed hair who provides incredibly disrespectful responses to even the simplest inquiries. Constant false promises of return calls and follow-ups regarding appointments, with their online system being completely unreliable and prone to technical issues. When attempting to report problems, patients are immediately blamed and told everything is working fine for others, only responding effectively when threatened with escalation. Incompetent reception staff and a fundamentally mismanaged clinic - steer clear at all costs. I'm thrilled to be leaving this practice due to their appalling, discourteous treatment of patients. With the exception of Al-Qazi, Kosar, and the excellent blood test technician, the majority of staff desperately need training in basic customer service and compassionate patient care.
