While waiting for an in-person consultation, it's remarkable to observe the intense workload and constant pressure the staff endures. Despite these challenges, the reception personnel maintain their warmth and compassion, consistently demonstrating a willingness to support and comfort every patient (even when some individuals are less than courteous). The physicians are both competent and remarkably empathetic. Incompetent doctor fails to address serious health concerns

Dr. Kinnersly seems compassionate, but appears completely out of his depth when it comes to women's health concerns. I've been struggling with abnormally heavy menstrual bleeding, and rather than conducting a proper medical investigation, his sole approach has been repeatedly switching my contraceptive prescription. This constant medication change is causing my hormonal balance to become extremely erratic, and paradoxically, the bleeding has intensified. I'm now feeling utterly lost and uncertain about how to address my ongoing health issue.

Worst healthcare experience ever endless phone queue nightmare

After enduring an excruciating 45-minute hold with monotonous background music, I was repeatedly disconnected just as I reached the front of the queue. It took me five exhausting attempts just to connect with a representative! When I finally managed to speak with someone, the interaction felt as cold and rigid as conversing with a robotic traffic officer. Attempting to schedule an appointment is an exercise in frustration, with wait times so prolonged that your medical issue might resolve itself—or worsen—before you're seen. Their apparent indifference is staggering, which explains why patients increasingly resort to emergency services. Should you miraculously secure an appointment, be prepared to sacrifice an entire workday, as they operate exclusively during standard business hours. Any suggestion of alternative timing is met with a dismissive "take it or leave it" attitude that borders on contempt. The service quality is abysmal. Even considering the current challenges facing the NHS, this particular surgery represents a new low in patient care.

I've recently become a patient at Chartham Old School Surgery, and I must say their service has exceeded my expectations. The front desk team demonstrates exceptional professionalism and warmth, ensuring each interaction is comfortable and welcoming. Booking appointments, whether in-person or via telephone, has been seamlessly smooth, with no waiting or difficulty connecting. The ability to collect my prescriptions directly from the surgery, avoiding the need to travel to external pharmacies like Morrisons or Boots, is both incredibly convenient and time-saving. Every aspect of the care and support provided by the outstanding staff and physicians at Chartham Old School Surgery has been nothing short of excellent. I sincerely hope they continue to maintain this high standard of service.

Incompetent surgery mishandled my important medical records

I was initially very satisfied with Old School Surgery due to their previous care. However, when I switched to a new medical practice and they requested my medical history, Old School Surgery's response was completely unacceptable. They transmitted all my electronic records to a surgery I had visited before moving to Chartham, leaving my new surgery without any documentation of my medical background prior to February 2023 - despite my complex medical history. After contacting Chartham to understand where they had sent my files, they informed me of the destination. I emphasized that the previous surgery hadn't requested these records, but they insisted otherwise. I questioned why an old surgery would request my files when I'm no longer in their area. Now my files are seemingly lost in a patient hub somewhere, and my new surgery desperately needs them. Old School Surgery has committed a significant error, and they haven't even offered an apology. What if I had a life-threatening condition? WHAT IF??? This is absolutely unacceptable.
