Incompetent service no access to GP

No joined up care with a named Dr. It seems they phone round for staff each morning. Only get to see a nurse not a Dr. Having problems getting blood pressure medication due to incompetence in clinical pharmacology dept. My wife of 82 is just dismissed and told to apply cream to her foot which has worrying discolouration. I can imagine the place is run by some faceless management team with a flowchart to get clients out of the door as quickly as possible

Terrible healthcare experience with dangerous medication delays

Utterly unacceptable treatment. For a fortnight, they've completely disrupted my medication routine. They arbitrarily reduced my prescription to a mere 4-day supply instead of a full week's worth. I've been calling daily to resolve this issue with zero progress. They're demanding a blood test, but how can I comply when they haven't provided the medication my hospital prescribed? I'm still waiting on my crucial Diabetes injection pen. The staff have been extremely unhelpful and dismissive.

Dangerous medical care nearly cost me my life

I am completely dissatisfied with Orchard Surgery, which has seriously deteriorated along with their medical staff! Back in October, I was misdiagnosed in a way that nearly killed me, as they refused to see me in person despite knowing my critical situation and persistently misdiagnosed me over the phone. I had to visit A+E three times before a compassionate doctor finally did his job and provided an accurate diagnosis, warning me that any further delay could have been fatal!!! Orchard continues to demonstrate medical negligence and extreme incompetence, not only risking my life but also failing to document my emergency transfer to Addenbrooke's Hospital for two critical operations related to a lifelong condition requiring a lumbar shunt in my spinal column to drain excess fluid and relieve brain pressure. When I requested my medical records, they had no documentation of these significant events!!! Patients should be extremely cautious with this practice, as they were previously investigated for medical neglect, with health and safety authorities examining their failure to properly care for and diagnose patients, potentially saving lives!!!

I've visited this medical practice numerous times, and while it's not without its flaws, I've been reasonably satisfied with the care provided. Just be prepared to follow up on things yourself! There were some past uncertainties regarding my specific care pathway, though I don't believe this was due to any deliberate mismanagement by the practice. I consistently use their digital booking platform and have experienced no difficulties scheduling appointments. For non-urgent consultations, do anticipate some waiting time before connecting with a physician.

Dangerous misdiagnosis putting my kids health at risk

On two separate occasions, the healthcare providers failed to correctly identify my children's skin conditions, relying solely on photo consultations. The first time, they misdiagnosed a rash as heat rash, which was later confirmed as scarlet fever when we took our daughter to the walk-in centre in Norwich. Similarly, in a second incident, they claimed it was chickenpox, but it turned out to be hand, foot, and mouth disease. Previously, they were excellent with our children, but now it seems they either want to brush us off or simply redirect us to A&E or a walk-in centre without proper examination.

Disappointing medical service with poor communication

Thought the facility had improved, they promised a callback regarding my blood tests and I trusted their word. But no follow-up ever came, though fortunately I can access my test results online and research them independently. I'm definitely not returning to this place, and they seem oblivious to why the emergency department is constantly overwhelmed with minor complaints. Their veteran's support claims are completely hollow.

Appalling medical experience. Scheduling an appointment with the physician seems unattainable, especially for a pediatric patient. Their digital booking platform is completely dysfunctional and ineffective.
