Compassionate care that truly listens to patients

I have absolutely no complaints about this medical practice. My various health concerns are treated with genuine care and attention. The doctors make me feel heard and valued, taking the time to provide in-person consultations, which is a refreshing change from my previous healthcare providers. While there can occasionally be a bit of a wait to speak with the reception staff, I've consistently found that I'm able to secure an appointment relatively quickly.

Terrible medical service that wastes your time

Wouldn't even award a single star - these are the most incompetent medical professionals I've encountered. They repeatedly cancel appointments just 20 minutes after scheduling, despite me waiting months to be seen. It's virtually impossible to connect with a physician or front desk staff, even when the matter is critically urgent. Absolutely terrible service that I cannot endorse in any way!

It's disheartening to find that a critical mental health referral appears to be met with complete silence from the medical practice. I understand healthcare providers are stretched thin, but that's no justification for neglecting an urgent request for assistance. Worst medical practice ever terrible service nightmare

I spent an exhausting 6+ hours attempting to schedule a doctor's appointment. The initial 3 hours were just trying to connect, and when I finally did, the system was useless. I endured over 90 minutes on hold, only to have the call disconnected. A second attempt resulted in another 90-minute wait, by which time the surgery had closed. What an absolute farce! This morning, after being trapped in their answer system for over 40 minutes, I still couldn't book an appointment. The only option offered was a vague phone call sometime next Tuesday, with no specified time. They seem to have plenty of time for phone conversations but zero availability for in-person interactions. When I requested the practice manager's email to file a complaint, I was told I must write a physical letter. This level of bureaucratic nonsense is completely unacceptable.

Lazy doctors failing patients during health crisis

GP's need to step up and stop cowering behind closed doors, neglecting their fundamental duty to provide direct patient care. Paramedics and hospital staff are exhausted from compensating for your negligence and handling the consequences of your refusal to see patients in person. Your professional conduct is utterly disgraceful and falls far short of the medical standards expected of you.

Exceptional healthcare with attentive doctors and convenience

I've been a patient at Orchard surgery for more than five years after switching from Riverside surgery due to scheduling difficulties. The doctors here are exceptional, and I consistently find it easy to secure appointments. They demonstrate genuine care and attentiveness to patient concerns. The sole drawback is the apparent lack of a Facebook presence, as far as I'm aware.

Worst medical experience ever with heartless staff

I had recently moved to the area and hadn't registered with a medical practice when I suffered a back injury requiring urgent medical attention. The reception staff on the phone were adamant that I must come in person to register, despite my explaining that I was in excruciating pain and could barely move. After numerous emotional phone calls, they finally relented and allowed me to register as a temporary patient while scheduling a doctor's appointment. Upon arrival, it was evident to everyone that I was in extreme distress, yet the staff remained cold and unsympathetic. My appointment was delayed by nearly an hour, during which I was forced to lie on the reception floor in absolute misery. Hardly anyone offered assistance, with one staff member's sole gesture being placing a chair near my head to prevent me from being hit by a door. When I inquired about wait times, the staff tersely reminded me how busy the doctors were. The eventual consultation with the doctor was marginally better, as she appeared somewhat understanding and apologetic. However, her treatment was minimal - she simply prescribed painkillers and offered no further guidance or referral. When I asked about an in-house pharmacy, she dismissively suggested one located in a Sainsbury's down the road, seemingly oblivious to my inability to walk. The entire experience was incredibly distressing during an already challenging time. I'm uncertain whether the reception staff are simply unhappy in their roles or have become desensitized by their work, but their lack of empathy was shocking. They desperately need to improve their approach to patient care.

Frustrating product with repeated medication mistakes

Persistent mistakes in medication management This pharmacy consistently fails to handle prescriptions correctly. Every single time I visit, there's a problem with my medication order. Either they're missing pills, have incorrect dosages, or take an excessive amount of time to process my prescription. The staff seems disorganized and lacks attention to detail. I've complained multiple times, but nothing improves. Their poor performance is unacceptable, and I'm seriously considering switching to another pharmacy where I can receive reliable service.
