Getting an appointment is a lengthy process, and their communication lacks reliability. My experiences with this GP have been twice marked by extreme discomfort and stress. The physician displays zero empathy, immediately suggesting my condition is purely psychological. He remains obstinate in providing unclear explanations and consistently dismisses my concerns. Despite presenting a genuine health issue, he rigidly adheres to standard protocols, offering no practical guidance beyond attributing my symptoms to anxiety. While clinical guidelines are important, the human aspect of patient care seems completely absent. His approach totally fails to provide any sense of reassurance, leaving me feeling unheard and compelled to explore alternative healthcare options. The doctor's complete lack of compassionate understanding is truly disappointing.

They don't care.

They simply don't care, I've been numerous times over the same existing issue and they continue to just throw Lansoprazole at me and say "we don't know what else". Literally useless, I feel completely uncared for, they can't wait to rush you out of the room.

Although I was given a web link to the NHS platform, I experienced substantial difficulties accessing the booking portal, as the provided links were non-functional. Moreover, I was disheartened by the reception team's minimal support. Their demeanor suggested that my problems were not genuinely acknowledged, which intensified my overall frustration. It's particularly disappointing, especially given that Dr. Saxby is a highly competent and skilled physician. I genuinely appreciate her medical expertise, but the challenges in arranging an appointment are remarkably disheartening. I sincerely hope the practice can resolve these administrative obstacles to enhance the patient experience.

Absolutely terrible service. As the child of a cardiac patient, I tried to schedule an appointment but was repeatedly redirected. After completing their required form, they suggested going to the emergency room. I repeatedly emphasized my mother's cardiac condition and ongoing medication regimens, and her desire to consult with her primary care physician and obtain a referral to a heart specialist. However, the staff seemed more interested in lounging around, drinking beverages, and pushing all patients towards hospital emergency services instead of providing actual medical care or consultation.

Terrible service from ordsall practice medical centre

I am penning this review on behalf of my sister Julie Burke. The Ordsall Practice was once outstanding but has significantly declined. Securing an urgent appointment feels like an impossible feat. Approximately two months ago, Julie arrived at the surgery when it opened, explaining her suspicion of a kidney infection, a condition she's experienced previously. She was instructed to complete an online form, but Julie clarified she lacked internet access on her phone. The Receptionist completed the form and informed Julie she would need to await a call from a Hub Doctor, with no specified timeframe. Julie waited from 8:10 am until late afternoon. The Hub Doctor requested she travel to their location near Salford Precinct. Julie explained her inability to locate the Hub and her work commitments at Manchester University, which would make attendance challenging. Julie must work to support herself, as she lives alone and receives no sick pay. Her day begins at 6 am and ends at 5 pm, relying on unreliable buses while managing mobility issues from gout and arthritis. It's utterly unacceptable that she was present at the surgery early morning but received a call only in mid-afternoon. Julie should have been examined on-site when doctors were available. Instructing her to wait for a call is completely unacceptable. Whoever designed this current system has created significant barriers, particularly for working individuals. I've reluctantly awarded one star because the rating system wouldn't allow zero. Julie insists even one star is undeserved!

Worst healthcare experience ever dangerous and unprofessional

This GP is absolutely dreadful! 1) Constant errors are their trademark 2) Staff provide conflicting information, even when asked the identical question 3) Prescriptions are perpetually incorrect, either wrong medication or incorrect dosage - absolutely, positively never right. Zero accuracy. Just consider the potential fatal consequences if you accidentally consume the incorrect medication without careful verification. You'll waste countless hours trying to obtain a proper prescription, making it impossible for anyone with a standard work schedule. Anyone with daytime work commitments should absolutely AVOID this medical practice.

Unacceptable healthcare service leaving patients without medicine

The practice left me completely stranded without any means to obtain my ongoing prescription or access my essential medications. They provided zero help or support. During a discussion about relocating, they inexplicably removed me from their patient system, cutting off my ability to get a repeat prescription. I'm only partway through my treatment course, which feels extremely risky. Their dismissive response was simply that I must now register with another healthcare provider to get my medicine. I feel utterly abandoned and betrayed by their callous approach.
