Terrible healthcare experience for immigrant patient

Terrible experience! For some reason, the receptionist was completely indifferent and seemed to deliberately make things difficult until I was exhausted. As an immigrant, I was dismayed by the discriminatory treatment I received. I pay my taxes and rarely visit this facility - this was my first time in three years - yet I was made to feel insignificant. The healthcare system in this country is abysmal, and I fear it will deteriorate further after leaving the EU. My strongest recommendation is to invest in private healthcare if you can possibly afford it. Avoid this place at all costs.

Friendly and efficient healthcare at ordsall health centre

After relocating and leaving behind my long-standing medical practice, I found myself needing to register with a new healthcare provider. Initially, this seemed intimidating, but upon exploring the Ordsall health centre and reading their welcoming mission statement, my apprehensions began to fade. Since joining in October, I have been thoroughly impressed. The entire team, from the reception staff to the doctors and nurses, exudes warmth and friendliness. Terrible healthcare service that completely failed me

My encounters with this medical practice have been nothing but frustrating. They previously mishandled my asthma medication and inexplicably terminated my registration, claiming I had relocated abroad - which is completely false! This evening, I attempted to re-register, arriving just 10 minutes before closing (given my challenging work schedule and commute), only to have the reception staff refuse to process my registration or accept my documents in those final moments. All of this occurs while I urgently require a GP appointment and need my asthma inhaler prescription renewed! Their systems are clearly dysfunctional, and the reception service is incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful.

Terrible clinic with impossible scheduling nightmare

Scheduling a visit at this medical facility is absolutely absurd! You're looking at nearly four weeks before you can be seen! Apparently, the only way to get an earlier slot is if you're unemployed and can spontaneously call to snag a last-minute cancellation - a completely impractical approach that demonstrates their total lack of patient-friendly processes!

The front desk personnel are discourteous and unaccommodating, appearing disinterested in addressing your concerns and quick to dismiss requests before fully hearing them out. In contrast, the medical professionals are competent. It's truly unfortunate that the reception staff's poor attitude couldn't be remedied through some basic customer service training...
