On December 20th, I was at urgent care's first-floor facility and encountered Dr. Duce, who was truly exceptional. Despite not being a regular patient of this practice, I was impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness, and compassionate approach. I was experiencing extreme fatigue at the time. After another healthcare professional requested a second opinion, Dr. Duce conducted a comprehensive examination and adjusted my antibiotics, as I had developed a chest infection while on my previous medication. Today, I'm feeling significantly better and wanted to express my gratitude. I initially intended to email the surgery with my appreciation, but couldn't locate their contact information, so I'm sharing this positive review to acknowledge Dr. Duce's outstanding care and medical expertise.

Frustrating appointments and broken communication system

Recently, the service quality has been absolutely appalling. They've implemented a new appointment scheduling system where you input your details online, and they're supposed to message you about when someone will call to set up an appointment. However, the critical issue is they consistently fail to follow through with the callback, leaving you forced to initiate contact again and essentially restart the entire process. I've been bombarded with 4 separate messages requesting me to complete a questionnaire that I've already submitted, which suggests their computer support system is fundamentally flawed. If an organization chooses to adopt digital appointment booking methods, it's absolutely crucial that the system functions correctly - this is especially critical when dealing with healthcare-related services.

Swift care for my painful hamstring injury

After experiencing a hamstring injury, I shared my medical information and a picture early Thursday morning. By 10am, I had secured a clinic appointment with Chrissy, who promptly forwarded my case to the Orthopedic department at MDGH. I met with a consultant the following Monday, underwent X-rays, and received a scan that Friday. The subsequent Monday's consultation revealed that my hamstring had completely detached from the bone. I'm now receiving physiotherapy. The efficiency and care provided by both the Surgery and Hospital during this incredibly painful injury were absolutely exceptional. My deepest gratitude goes out to every staff member involved in my treatment.

Terrible medical practice with unhelpful and rude staff

I've been a patient at this medical practice for years, and aside from a few competent doctors, the overall experience is terrible. The receptionists are incredibly unprofessional, failing miserably at their basic responsibility of welcoming and scheduling patients who are likely already feeling anxious and vulnerable. No matter how polite I am, they remain consistently abrupt and unfriendly. When I called seeking urgent help about medication causing severe bleeding, the receptionist was completely unhelpful, merely sending a link without proper assistance. Upon explaining I couldn't access the link, she barely collected my details and claimed a doctor or nurse would contact me. Predictably, I received another inaccessible link after earlier navigating a complex online 111 process that specifically instructed me to contact my GP. My frustration with this practice has reached a point where I'm seriously considering changing providers, despite having been registered here my entire life. I deeply respect the NHS and understand the challenges of healthcare, but surely some basic staff sensitivity training isn't too much to ask.

Exceptional care and speedy service at park green

I can genuinely attest that my encounters with this medical practice have consistently been positive. I recently required appointments for both myself and my infant, and remarkably, they scheduled us on the same day. Often within the hour. Today, I was incredibly impressed to see a physician within just 5 minutes!!!!! Such exceptional service is remarkable! While some individuals are quick to criticize medical practices for unavailability, I have never personally experienced such issues at Park Green. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire staff, with a special acknowledgment to Sister Lisa and Doctors Panting and Leigh. I sincerely hope they continue their outstanding work!
