Veterinary care trumps human medical center's negligence

I'm thoroughly impressed with the customer care at Storras veterinary surgery compared to my experience with Park Medical Centre. Back in September 2023, I submitted a formal written complaint which they acknowledged in October, promising an investigation. However, as of January 2024, I've received absolutely no follow-up or resolution. After making a call to their office today, I've made the decision to switch my medical registration and transfer my care to Storras, just like how they've consistently cared for my dog.

Terrible service leaving patients in medical limbo

This medical practice is in complete disarray. I brought my son in two days ago and he requires a referral, but the doctor was uncertain about where to send him and needed to consult with another physician. As of now, no referral has been issued since the doctor hasn't spoken with anyone yet. I was simply instructed to call back Monday morning at 8 am for another doctor to handle the referral. The level of incompetence is utterly unacceptable.

Unprofessional medical care that left me frustrated

Absolutely dreadful experience. I was made to feel like a burden to the physician, and the receptionist dismissively suggested I "Google" the interpretation of my test results after enduring an 8-week wait because the doctor hadn't even reviewed them. Extremely unsatisfactory service.

Couldn't book appointments when I needed them most

I was registered at this practice for many years until recently. I decided to transfer to another surgery because I felt extremely anxious during 2020, when I urgently required an appointment but was unable to secure one after making repeated attempts over an extended period. Living alone, I became genuinely frightened about my situation at one point, and I simply needed a straightforward prescription. The two stars reflect my appreciation for the clinical staff, who have consistently provided excellent care. However, I would rate the administrative and front-desk team considerably lower if it were possible to do so.

Absolutely shocking experience after emergency surgery discharge, with zero support or compassion. What was once considered the top surgical practice in Chester has dramatically declined. The front desk staff were completely unsympathetic. I felt incredibly exposed and abandoned.

Frustrating healthcare experience with impossible appointments

It's incredibly frustrating how challenging it is to secure a medical consultation or connect with a general practitioner. It appears they intentionally create obstacles that make obtaining an appointment virtually unattainable. Their online booking platform is utterly ineffective, and I'm deeply concerned about how vulnerable populations like seniors or those without digital access manage this system. They continually hide behind Covid-related restrictions as justification for limiting patient access, yet colleagues at other medical practices don't experience similar barriers. This surgery has dramatically declined; what was once a compassionate healthcare environment now seems, particularly at the reception level, to actively discourage patient visits.

Worst medical practice ever avoid at all costs

Completely terrible service. Horrendous. Unscrupulous and indifferent. Utterly unreachable. They consistently fail to follow through on their promises. Scheduling an appointment is futile if you have a job. They repeatedly break their commitment to refer patients. I cannot find a single positive thing to say about anyone working there. One can only imagine how many individuals have experienced neglect due to their incompetence.

The callback was prompt, and Dr. McLeod was professional and quickly processed a prescription that was swiftly transmitted to a nearby pharmacy. My son-in-law picked it up shortly thereafter. Horrible service for elderly patients needing care

Absolutely worthless... I've been attempting to schedule an appointment for my elderly father for a full week. Each morning, I call at 8 and end up waiting on hold for a minimum of half an hour. Then I'm informed that all in-person appointments are fully booked and I should try again the next day. It's completely ridiculous! I have three young children to prepare for school, and I can't waste my entire morning stuck on the telephone. Their scheduling process is fundamentally broken. Walking past the medical center, I constantly notice the waiting room is completely vacant 😡

Consistently forced to endure lengthy 40-minute wait times just to interact with dismissive and condescending front desk staff who demand courtesy while showing none towards patients. They brazenly play favorites, arbitrarily prioritizing some patients over others, which fundamentally undermines the quality of healthcare delivery. I've personally uncovered multiple instances of their dishonesty, where they've falsely claimed no appointment slots were open when, in reality, they were. This medical practice is dismally managed and operates with complete disregard for patient needs.
