Terrible doctors who fail neurodivergent patients
This medical practice is absolutely not accommodating for autistic individuals. The waiting room is cramped with loud music causing sensory overload. Receptionists are unreliable, failing to properly document calls and falsely claiming appointments are made. You encounter different GPs each visit, who provide conflicting medical advice. Their communication is consistently unclear and confusing. I experienced contradictory guidance about treating a skin condition - one doctor insisted it was fungal, another claimed it was autoimmune. After completing fungal treatment and returning, the initial doctor remained convinced it was fungal. Applying both creams resulted in my psoriasis spreading and worsening. Appointment times are disregarded, with patients arriving later being seen before those who arrived on time, which triggered my meltdown and ultimately led me to leave the practice. Medication instructions are equally problematic. Despite clear guidance from online sources and pharmacists about dosage, the GP provided inconsistent and vague instructions, leaving me improperly medicated and feeling unwell. When attempting to confirm an appointment, receptionists demonstrated complete disorganization. One claimed an appointment was scheduled, but the next day another staff member insisted no record existed. This could have resulted in a wasted trip and unnecessary inconvenience. I've witnessed similar mistreatment of other patients, including an elderly gentleman with mobility issues being made to wait unnecessarily. After years of persistent problems, I'm absolutely done with this practice. They are unquestionably the worst medical facility I've encountered. The practice manager is particularly awful, displaying a shocking lack of understanding about neurodiversity and treating patients inhumanely. They urgently require investigation and significant improvement.

After being with this medical practice for a decade, I've reached my breaking point. Following a heart attack on October 24th, it's now late January and I'm still unable to secure a doctor's appointment. The service is absolutely appalling. The reception staff are consistently unhelpful and discourteous, and their promises to follow up are completely empty - no one ever contacts me back as they claim. This healthcare provider is entirely unacceptable, offering a service that falls far below any reasonable standard of patient care.

After six decades of loyalty to this medical practice, spanning generations from Dr. Elsdon Senior to myself and my family, I've reluctantly decided to seek care elsewhere. Their 'triage' system, supposedly designed to direct patients to the most appropriate clinician, failed spectacularly in my case. When I requested a blood test appointment in person, the receptionist adamantly refused to help me, insisting I book online. I explained I was already present and didn't require pre-assessment, but she remained inflexible. When I attempted to clarify my request, she publicly accused me of being disrespectful, loudly reprimanding me in front of other patients. I remained calm and courteous throughout our interaction. Upon later complaining about this experience, I was treated appallingly during a phone call, with the staff claiming the receptionist was in tears over my supposed misconduct. No apology was offered, no attempt to understand my situation, and absolutely no willingness to compromise. This incident has been so distressing that continuing with this practice became impossible. As an educated professional, I was essentially treated like a misbehaving child by administrative staff. While the doctors presumably believe this system increases efficiency, I'm concerned it could potentially endanger patients in more critical circumstances. Fortunately, my need was merely a routine blood test, but being told that a receptionist with access to my records couldn't book a simple appointment is utterly ridiculous. I want to emphasize that my criticism is exclusively directed at the administrative staff. The clinicians themselves have always been beyond reproach. Perhaps the medical professionals should critically examine the personnel managing their practice.

I sustained a leg injury in April and attempted to secure a medical consultation. The receptionist's demeanor was incredibly unhelpful, dismissing me and insisting I complete an online triage form. Consequently, I've been unable to consult with a physician. As my pain intensified, a nurse recommended physiotherapy, but that referral never materialized. My attempts to schedule a physiotherapy appointment were futile, forcing me to fund my own treatment. It's unacceptable that patients must pay privately when we contribute to the NHS through our taxes. My frustration with Park Medical is immense; simply getting past the receptionist seems to be the primary challenge. To anyone seeking care here, I wish you the best of luck—you'll certainly need it.

I am thoroughly impressed with this medical practice and couldn't be more satisfied. Every staff member demonstrates exceptional dedication and goes out of their way to provide support. The receptionists are warm and welcoming, while the doctors are both compassionate and clinically proficient. I initially selected this practice because of their innovative online triage system, which is incredibly convenient for patients (and I genuinely appreciate its availability), but in truth, every aspect of the practice is remarkable. Since relocating from Macclesfield, my children and I have experienced nearly 20 medical interactions, with our records seamlessly transferred and all medical concerns promptly and appropriately addressed by Park Medical.
