Terrible medical care led to years of suffering
I'm at my breaking point after 33 years of terrible healthcare. Nine years ago, they repeatedly dismissed my symptoms as IBS, only to discover two years later that I have cancer that had been developing in my bowel for years. My appendix was leaking for months, leading to mucus cancer. Today, 6/10/22, a receptionist was incredibly disrespectful when I tried explaining my medical concerns, bluntly telling me to seek treatment elsewhere, despite knowing I have limited options. This practice used to be fantastic when I was younger, but now I'm absolutely done with them. They make me wait nearly a week for an appointment, then claim I'm not an emergency because I'm not already hospitalized. All I want is a referral letter to avoid sitting in A&E in agony. Their attitude is unacceptable, and I'm changing doctors without hesitation.

Unresponsive and unhelpful, this medical practice fails miserably at basic patient care. Their staff are consistently slow to pick up phone calls and appear disinterested in addressing patient needs. I've been struggling for weeks to secure a referral to a hospital for dental issues related to my cancer treatment, but their communication is shockingly poor. Every interaction has been marked by an unwelcoming and confrontational attitude. The prolonged waiting period is completely unacceptable. Without a doubt, these are the most incompetent doctors in Leek. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this practice entirely.

I experienced absolutely abysmal customer service and zero assistance! After enduring over 10 minutes waiting on hold, I was informed that the medical practice was 'unable' to schedule patient appointments, and was directed to complete a triage form on their website. However, I was simultaneously told that this online system was currently non-functional for patients and advised to attempt access again the following day. When I requested the specific website address, I was dismissively told to simply search for it on Google! How unnecessarily complicated and frustrating should booking a simple medical appointment be? How deliberately unhelpful and bureaucratic can a healthcare practice's appointment procedures and systems possibly become?

Disappointing service for a stressed caregiver
I called the medical practice a fortnight back and had a helpful conversation with a compassionate doctor. As a full-time caregiver for my elderly 90-year-old father, with no alternative support, I inquired about COVID vaccine eligibility. The GP instructed the receptionist to ensure my prompt vaccination in category 6. After hearing nothing further, I rang again, only to be confronted by an extremely discourteous receptionist who claimed I'd been downgraded to category 8 and demanded documentation to prove my original status. Am I seriously expected to provide evidence while managing my dad's basic care needs? The suggestion is absurd. I have significant health complications including severe hypertension and asthma, so this treatment is completely unacceptable. Thanks for nothing, Park Medical.

Called the surgery hoping to book a medical consultation, but the unhelpful and aggressive receptionist insisted I must book online. Their attitude was completely uncooperative. I might as well go to the emergency department where I'll only wait 4 to 5 hours instead of days. After all, GPs are earning over £100,000 annually, so we mustn't burden them too much with actual patient care.

Another dreadful encounter with this awful medical facility, where the doctor treated me like a drug-seeking addict despite my legitimate need for sleeping medication for a four-week period, even though I've only been prescribed two weeks. The staff are incredibly arrogant, particularly the one with the elongated horse-like facial features and the rotund, beady-eyed individual reminiscent of Olive from the classic TV show. Their service is disgraceful, seemingly influenced by the current political climate and a mockery of bureaucratic attitudes.
