Patient Experience Summary

Patient feedback reflects a mixed experience across the practice. Medical professionals are consistently praised for their compassionate care, professional approach, and responsiveness to patient concerns. GPs are noted for extending consultations when clinically necessary and providing thorough follow-up communication. Digital consultation services receive particular recognition for efficiency and speed of response.

However, significant challenges emerge in administrative and reception services. Patients report substantial difficulties with appointment access, including lengthy waiting times and problems reaching the practice by phone. Booking system issues and slow referral processing are recurring concerns, with some patients experiencing delays of several months. Reception staff courtesy is inconsistent, with some patients describing dismissive attitudes and poor responsiveness to inquiries.

Additional administrative issues include unresponsive management communication, difficulties obtaining medical records, and problems with registration processes. While some patients describe supportive reception experiences, others report being rushed through systems or encountering unhelpful responses. The contrast between positive clinical care and problematic administrative function represents the primary source of dissatisfaction across the feedback.

Excellent!

Exceptional care and compassion at st francis surgery

I'm absolutely thrilled with this medical practice! The Triage Nurses are exceptional, and while I'd love to highlight specific individuals, I must emphasize that every single Doctor I've encountered has been incredibly compassionate and supportive. Today was particularly wonderful as I received a personal call from a Doctor who provided complete reassurance about my recent chest x-ray and blood test results. The level of care and communication is outstanding - kudos to St. Francis Surgery for delivering such remarkable service 👍😀

Excellent!

Compassionate and efficient healthcare with caring professionals

The staff maintain a professional demeanor, focusing on efficiency due to constant incoming calls. General Practitioners have consistently been courteous and dedicated to thoroughly addressing patient concerns. In one instance, due to the gravity of my medical situation, a GP extended the standard 10-minute consultation, ultimately determining that hospital treatment was necessary. Naturally, this caused a delay in their schedule, but isn't it reassuring to know they prioritize patient care over strict time constraints? While appointment wait times can be lengthy, they have a triage nurse who can evaluate whether immediate attention or hospital referral is required. I'm simultaneously satisfied and concerned about the declining number of GPs nationwide. Continued excellence is appreciated.

Bad!

Bureaucratic nightmare of primary care registration

After a month of bureaucratic back-and-forth, involving two registration attempts (with one mysteriously vanishing at the surgery), multiple in-person visits, and several phone conversations, the medical practice ultimately declared that I reside outside their service region. Surely there must be a more efficient method to prevent patients from enduring four weeks without primary care access? Signed, an exasperated individual still seeking medical representation.
