Mixed experience with unhelpful and impersonal healthcare

The nursing team consistently demonstrated warmth and compassion. In stark contrast, the front desk personnel struck me as consistently discourteous and lacking basic human understanding. They exclusively provide telephone consultations, which seems particularly inappropriate for pediatric cases like my infant with respiratory concerns. Their operational approach is utterly nonsensical, having dramatically deteriorated during the pandemic, with an alarming frequency of physician departures (which is universally recognized as a red flag). Patient concerns are perpetually dismissed, and appointments feel hurried and perfunctory. I absolutely cannot endorse this medical practice. Relocating was unquestionably the most intelligent decision I've made.

Terrible service that wasted our precious time

Absolute disaster of a medical practice: -Repeatedly canceled appointments without notifying me, causing unnecessary travel and wasted time. -Unnecessarily pulled my son out of school for an appointment that could have easily been handled via telephone. We were essentially told "the test was inconclusive and needs to be repeated, but we lack the necessary equipment and you'll need to see a specialist". So why did we even come? What was the point of this pointless in-person meeting? -Numerous other frustrating incidents occurred, but these two were the final straws that convinced us to switch healthcare providers. Our new medical practice is absolutely fantastic! We should have made this change much sooner!!

Parking nightmare with expensive and limited options

Parking situation is extremely challenging here. The nearby lots were completely occupied, forcing me to wait around for an available space. The pricing is steep, with the lowest parking rate being £1.50 for a single hour and no shorter time option available. Given the lengthy wait times, you'll likely need to pay for more than an hour anyway.

Lifesaving care when i needed it most

The staff at Park Surgery are truly exceptional. While experiencing some challenging heart-related symptoms, I found myself near their facility during a particularly intense episode. Feeling quite breathless, I entered and explained that I might require medical attention, despite not having a scheduled appointment. Four staff members went above and beyond to help me. They were incredibly thorough, conducting all necessary medical checks to ensure my well-being, ultimately determining that an ambulance was not required. I was deeply impressed by their professionalism and compassion. I deeply regret not capturing the name of the wonderful receptionist who first assisted me. The doctor and nurse were equally remarkable. Their collective response was nothing short of extraordinary, and I am profoundly thankful for their immediate and caring support during a vulnerable moment. My gratitude towards these healthcare professionals knows no bounds.

Since January 2024, I've been a patient at Park Surgery, and I have absolutely no complaints. After relocating to Horsham and discovering my pregnancy, I needed to transfer my medical care. During the early stages of pregnancy, I struggled with severe morning sickness alongside an existing medical condition. Throughout this challenging time, the practice consistently provided appointments, the reception staff were friendly and supportive, and the medical professionals were attentive, offering genuine solutions and compassionate care. Following my pregnancy, both my baby and I experienced some health challenges. I consulted with various healthcare professionals including nurses, doctors, physician assistants, and even spoke with the pharmacist - all of whom delivered exceptional care. I've received outstanding medical attention from Dr Emma Roberts, Nurse Irene, Dr Shilpa Jethwa, Dr Daniel McGowa, Ed Viney, and other staff members. Overall, I'm thrilled with my decision to register at Park Surgery, and the convenient on-site pharmacy is an added bonus.

Initially consulted a trainee medical professional who suggested an X-ray, potentially followed by an MRI if initial results were inconclusive. After completing the X-ray, I met with what seemed to be a physiotherapist who claimed nothing was wrong and dismissed my concerns about further investigation, refusing to recommend an MRI. She appeared disinterested in reviewing existing medical reports. Ultimately, I was compelled to seek private medical care, where I was finally diagnosed with a spinal cord condition. I am deeply frustrated by being initially examined by a non-physician who failed to properly assess my situation. On a separate medical matter, I found the treatment more satisfactory.
