Fantastic local surgery with minor booking challenges
I've been a patient at Park surgery for two years, and my experience has been consistently smooth. Whenever I've needed urgent care, I've always been able to secure an appointment or receive assistance. The staff, from receptionists to nurses and phlebotomists, are incredibly supportive and accommodating. All the doctors have been exceptional. This stands in stark contrast to my previous encounters with two London medical practices. The sole drawback is the advance booking system, which can be challenging. Securing an appointment more than six weeks ahead requires careful timing, and attempting to book in the final fortnight of the month for the following month proves futile.

I'm absolutely furious about how my mother was treated at the medical practice today. She left devastated after a doctor completely humiliated her during her consultation about kidney pain. Instead of showing compassion, the doctor was condescending and dismissive, making her feel unintelligent by saying things like "it's like pulling teeth" and criticizing her for not seeking help sooner, even sighing and tutting as he walked out. This unprofessional and cruel behavior is completely unacceptable. I'm going to escalate this complaint and demand accountability for how my vulnerable mother was spoken to and made to feel. This needs to be addressed immediately.
