Feedback on this practice reflects a mixed experience across appointment access, reception courtesy, and clinical care. Patients consistently report significant challenges securing appointments, with extended waiting periods and difficulties reaching the practice by phone. Reception experience emerges as a key concern, with multiple accounts of discourteous and dismissive staff interactions, though some patients describe welcoming and professional front desk service. In contrast, clinical consultations receive more positive feedback when patients successfully access them, with many praising medical professionals for compassionate care, thorough consultations, and genuine engagement with patient concerns.
Communication and responsiveness present ongoing issues, including delayed callback arrangements, unresponsive phone lines, and gaps in care coordination between departments. Some patients report feeling dismissed or deprioritised when seeking help, whilst others highlight instances of exceptional attentiveness and problem-solving from individual staff members. The practice appears to deliver variable experiences depending on which team members patients interact with and their ability to navigate the appointment system.
Where patients have managed to access medical care, satisfaction with clinical quality is notably higher, suggesting the primary barriers relate to access, booking processes, and reception interactions rather than the quality of medical treatment itself. However, persistent concerns about appointment availability and communication responsiveness indicate systemic challenges that impact overall patient confidence in the service.

Exceptional healthcare with friendly and compassionate staff
Without a doubt, among all medical practices in Littlehampton, this one stands out as the top choice. The front desk staff are absolutely delightful, and I've consistently experienced smooth interactions with them. Throughout my years here, I've consulted numerous physicians and recently a paramedic, all of whom have been thoroughly professional and courteous. It's crucial to remember that these healthcare workers are individuals too, who merit kindness and understanding, particularly considering the challenging times we've all endured recently.

Worst medical experience ever terrible staff beware
Undoubtedly the most revolting medical practice and personnel I've ever come across. Indolent and irresponsible. If your aim is to have your health issues dismissed and disregarded, this is precisely the clinic you should choose.

Exceptional healthcare during challenging covid times
During this challenging pandemic year, Park Surgery has once more delivered an exceptional service to all its patients. I have been fortunate to receive top-tier treatment and care on five separate instances, which is truly remarkable. The entire practice, from reception staff to Dr. Evans specifically, has embodied and upheld the core compassionate principles of the National Health Service. My heartfelt gratitude to Park Surgery. Terrible service and unprofessional medical staff
completely mismanaged, the employees are disrespectful and send out poorly composed correspondence. as a long-standing patient, i am deeply frustrated with every aspect of this medical practice. the receptionists seem content to lounge around all day, treating people poorly while sipping tea. what a cushy job.

Compassionate care that transformed my dad's experience
I'm absolutely amazed by this medical practice. When I reached out about my father, the receptionist was incredibly understanding and compassionate, carefully noting my concerns and relaying them to the physician. Dr. Hamilton personally got in touch, genuinely listened to my perspective, showed true empathy, and clearly explained his proposed approach. My dad can be challenging due to his strong sense of independence, but Dr. Hamilton never made him feel uncomfortable. Instead, he directly communicated with my dad and followed up the next day. His remarkable ability to connect and show genuine respect completely won my father over - he's now completely devoted to this doctor. I am truly grateful for such exceptional care.

Compassionate care with room for digital improvement
Excellent experience. The medical staff consistently provide top-notch care, and the physician ensures I fully understand my health situation instead of simply dictating instructions. I appreciate the online platform for scheduling appointments and managing prescription refills, though I have two suggestions for improvement: first, allowing patients to select a pharmacy convenient to their workplace in Chichester, rather than just near the clinic, and second, providing an email contact for general feedback and suggestions, as currently the options are limited to formal complaints or telephone communication.

Dangerous medical negligence from uncaring healthcare team
I'd rate this zero stars if possible, as the negligence here is truly alarming. Dr. Paul Daniels claims expertise in Lipoedema, yet demonstrates a complete lack of understanding about this genetic condition, its physical manifestations, and the profound psychological impact on patients. It's clear he doesn't even acknowledge the disorder's legitimacy. When a patient reports cellulitis, medical staff should LISTEN and BELIEVE them, not dismissively ignore their concerns. Untreated cellulitis can be life-threatening, and allowing a patient to endure 20 WEEKS of infection due to staff ignorance, unprofessional behavior, and apparent bias is absolutely unacceptable. It is NEVER appropriate for healthcare professionals to verbally or physically assault a patient, nor is it acceptable for colleagues to passively witness such misconduct without intervention. Ultimately, if you're seeking an experience characterized by poor treatment, complete lack of compassion, and unnecessary emotional trauma, this medical practice perfectly fits the bill.

Excellent surgeon despite front desk challenges
Wonderful physician, I can't comprehend why this medical practice receives negative feedback about the front desk staff - that shouldn't reflect on the reception, but rather on the medical professionals. In this case, the doctors are exceptional and highly skilled :)

Unhelpful reception ruins urgent medical care
On the 13th of March, I visited this self-promoting "walk-in" clinic seeking removal of a foreign object from my right eye. At 11:10am, I encountered a self-important receptionist who interrupted my registration process to interrogate me about my medical practice. When I mentioned I was registered with Westcourt, she smugly declared I must go there instead. I explained that Westcourt doesn't offer walk-in services, and Park practice actually advertises itself at Westcourt for this precise purpose. Despite my being in significant pain and experiencing visual impairment, she flatly refused assistance. I left, with other waiting patients visibly sympathetic to my abrupt and dismissive treatment. I am seriously contemplating escalating this matter to a higher authority, as prompt attention at that moment could have prevented the current discomfort I'm experiencing. Rest assured, Park Surgery, this incident is not over. Tony Perrin.

Consulted a physician through the Miami healthcare provider tonight. Absolutely ineffective. Completely apathetic and contemptuous toward my suffering. Not deserving of even the slightest recognition or rating.

Worst receptionist ever at park surgery clinic
Yet again, I encountered the most discourteous front desk staff imaginable. Park Surgery, are you blind to the mounting complaints about your receptionist? I implore you to remove them, as they are seriously damaging your practice's image. Furthermore, securing an appointment is an exercise in frustration, with the constant refrain of "the doctor will call you back." Some of us have professional commitments that make it challenging to take calls during work hours. We require the ability to schedule appointments immediately, not be left waiting for a callback.

Exceptional healthcare for all ages at park surgery
Since settling in this area 18 years ago, my family and I, spanning ages from 4 to 78, have consistently experienced top-notch care from The Park Surgery. The entire medical team—nurses, practitioners, and paramedics—absolutely deserve their 5-star rating and are truly exceptional professionals. While the reception staff can occasionally come across as slightly abrupt, I recognize the challenging nature of their role in prioritizing urgent appointments and appropriately redirecting less critical cases to alternative healthcare channels like 111 or local pharmacies, which I actually appreciate. Given the immense pressure on general practitioners, who are undeniably well-compensated, I completely empathize that it's unrealistic to expect them to personally see every single patient who contacts the surgery. The medical team continues to provide remarkable service, and I wholeheartedly commend their ongoing commitment to patient care. Keep maintaining these high standards, Park Surgery!
