Terrible healthcare with misdiagnosis and poor communication

I can't get through to this medical practice no matter what - it's absolutely the most terrible healthcare provider I've ever encountered. The doctors have repeatedly misdiagnosed both of my children on multiple occasions. In fact, I ended up having to diagnose my own son's condition by researching skin conditions on Google. When the doctor refused to provide an emergency appointment, claiming my son had already been incorrectly diagnosed, I contacted 111 who helped me secure an appointment. At that consultation, I explained the actual condition to the doctor, who then confirmed my assessment and prescribed the correct fungal cream, replacing the harmful steroid cream I had previously been given. The infection has now completely resolved, just as I had identified. To be absolutely clear, this is without doubt the worst medical surgery in Newport.

Lifesavers at surgery who made my prescription happen

I'm grateful to Emma and Tracey for addressing my HRT prescription that had been neglected in a basket for an entire week, overlooked by the pharmacist. These women are truly wonderful. Regrettably, the competent staff members rarely remain long-term. Each month, I encounter recurring problems with misplaced or incomplete prescriptions, creating constant frustration. The young pharmacist Lina displays an unpleasant demeanor. Previously, my partner was left without critical medication following a significant surgical procedure, and no one showed concern. Neglected mental health care left me devastated

I'm utterly disheartened by my experience with this medical practice. Approximately a year ago, I sought help from my GP regarding my mental health, expressing serious concerns about potential self-harm. The doctor dismissively allowed me to leave the consultation in distress, claiming there was nothing they could do. Tragically, a month later, I did indeed harm myself, having been denied the necessary support. Now, when I'm requesting an increase in my antidepressant medication, I was inappropriately questioned by a receptionist about confidential medical matters. Furthermore, despite being told a nurse would contact me, no such call ever came. I later discovered this was due to the surgery's administrative negligence in failing to document my need for a nurse consultation. Consequently, I'm now forced to endure weeks of waiting for a medical review. The complete lack of accountability displayed by this practice is absolutely appalling. If this were a physical health issue, such unacceptable treatment would never be tolerated.

This medical practice in Newport is arguably the most subpar I've encountered. The staff demonstrates zero willingness to assist patients. Their phone system is perpetually congested, making communication impossible. The customer service is absolutely abysmal.
